It is terminators... ofcourse they have it in one hand, but i actually think that one handed thunder hammers for normal space marines are actually more rare than two handed

Only for dedicated weapons, i.e. lightning claws and maybe or Eldar Banshees. In all other examples (i. e. twin Chainswords) I would consider it a plain example of the Rule of Cool gone wrong.
