The real waste of time and vehicle is when your rhino is dying for shit - or driven away by a team mate obvioulsy only aiming to ruin your tactics - because nobody cares caring for it. A waste of time because once your rhino is destroyed - or driven away - as nobody was guarding it, it's time lost, and those 30-45 seconds to get back on your primary target could very well mean in the meantime, your members present there are getting squared off and they have no reinforcements, your fault. A waste of a vehicle, because having your rhino destroyed as it's unguarded it's really complete dumb and I'm actually surprised you're coming to me with this kind of argument, and again, your fault. Guard the fucking rhinos, it's doing wonders in that game. Or don't guard them, it's making my games easier in the end. Sure thing is stop ranting on people driving your rhinos away if you don't guard them, because clearly, as a guild with 12 people in the game to use that particular example of the OP, it's clearly not HIS fault the rhino was left alone, free for anybody to use.
I find it interesting that this problem never comes up in an Ork game. When someone does something incredibly stupid in an Ork game they usually get plaudits and laughter. Ork clans generally only offer advice and support, even then it is usually only if it's asked for. Even after the biggest of losses, Orks tend to respond with "WAAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!". Orks tend to communicate in character. The worst insult I've seen recently in an Ork game is "YA GIT!" and that was after some newer players just trashed 3 Trukks in about 20 seconds. If you're not enjoying your current faction because you feel some players are a little too strict/hard on you or whatever, I'd highly recommend playing Orks for a bit.
Out of popcorn so I'll chime in too. First of all I wanna thank you guys for a good laugh, comments like "Because your squad leader gave you an order" or "This is a matter of you not obeying orders from your commanding officer." or "If your squad leader says Go to A, you drop EVERYTHING and go to A" well actually every thing @Nanako (special thanks to you) and his lads said is pure forum gold - no diamonds! Thank you. On topic, in every game people inexperienced or not will do something you don't agree with or find stupid. Threatening them and talking like teenage assholes is a very pathetic reaction, it's even more pathetic if you call yourself a clan or guild. Was he wrong, maybe but that's totally irrelevant because of the way you reacted and the way you kept reacting here. Also pro-tip, if you're so eager to obey your commanding officer join the army and go to war. And I thought because gaming is a hobby for the majority of gamers the purpose and main goal of video games was to... well have fun. How could I be so silly
Oh look Another person who didn't actually read the damn thread. Here...lemme put this in big letters for people. OP ISN'T EVEN THE PERSON TALKED ABOUT IN THAT CHAT. WHAT HE DID WAS STEAL A RHINO. GET CALLED OUT FOR IT. AND KICKED FROM THE SQUAD. The worrying thing is that you think this somehow justifies the douchey Clan behaviour? Surely there was a better way of talking to the player rather than threatening them? Also when does "saving a Rhino from Fire Dragon" become "stealing a Rhino"? Are you sure there wasn't some AV after it?
You sure seem to like to proclaim your own moral superiority, but I cant take that seriously from someone whose character names reference farts, testicles, and various other subjects titillating to pre-teens. Just felt I should point that out. You also seem to like assuming the OP was threatened, which he wasn't, he was called some rude names, and then kicked from the squad, end of story. The guy who was TK'ing was threatened with being kicked if he kept it up.
I think your caps is broken and the forum seems to have a bug where it puts stuff into bold, capital, big letters randomly. Sorry mate but after reading the first few pages my eyes were teared up from laughter over you guys comments so I couldn't read. Also learn to read, I didn't defend the op or that other person, besides why would I believe your story. I even said maybe they were wrong, but reacting like you did isn't very mature and you made any argument you have invalid by the way you guys are acting.
You're right, taking a game not seriously and giving my chars silly names totally makes me a pre-teen and any point I make invalid. I'll change it to something dead serious for you. How about "Brother I obey orders" or something roman sounding? See previous post.
