I have noticed that most SW players opt for the dark grey over the ice blue. The blog Space Wolves Grey Blog Spot did a survey asking what color people chose and something like 70% or more like grey over blue. Will this be an option? I know this is a long shot.

What are the chances of a Dev guy actually seeing this post? I know they are super good with connecting with the fans, but aren't they on a ton of forums? Like Dakka Dakka. The team can't be that big.

Its kinda tricky. They already said deviation from the subfaction colors will be minimal, this being justified cause they have confirmed subfaction specific weapons, accessories, traits and all the other doodads that a particular subfaction (in your case a chapter) could have.

So the reason why the color deviation wont exist is cause you need to know simply by looking as to how your foe is colored to recognize what possible tricks he has up his sleeve based on his subfaction.
And yes i know both colors do indeed run within the same subfaction (SW) but i fear it might cause some issues with recognition. Imo they will probably choose 1 color and stick with it.

As for the chances of devs seeing things, id personally suggest you PM Brent (game designer) rather than wait for him to see this, he is a busy man and the chances are better if you PM him.

dont you think that all the wolf skulls/pelts/bones are enough to tell that your enemy is a SW?At least i believe that its enough

We are yet to see how flashy they are going with customization, if they all have a very noticeable pelt around their necks that would probably reduce the issue of recognition.

Nah i dont think that would happen since that's the heresy/crusade era color scheme.Maybe only through some relics imo...
