Hello guys! I've just recently joined the founders program as Lias Issodon, Chapter Master of the Raptors(not to be confused with Chaos Raptors). I suppose you can say that I am most certainly a themed character here, one who eschews melee combat in favor of gaining great skill in shooting. I hope to establish myself as THE Lias Issodon, not just any imposter! And anyone is welcome to join me in the fight over Arkona.

Welcome to the community Brother! As for you favoring melee combat dont get disapointed just yet! the Melee system as we speak is "a work in progress" but there have been leaps of improvement since the Founder Alpha launched!

Oh ho ho, it is not the melee system I'm particularly worried about. I'm not a good swordsman at all, as I've spent entirely too much time practicing my shooting, and not anywhere near enough time in the practice cages. Actually, I think most of the captains underneath me are skilled enough to best me in melee, if not in reflexes, but in actual swordsmanship.

I'm more looking forward to a strong system for customizing ranged weapons. I seem to have left Malice, my favorite bolter back on the battle barge. For now I'll have to make do with waiting on the parts to customize a Stalker Bolter to my liking. I want to be able to slot in a wide variety of bolter munitions for whatever fight I get in. And of course, having a double-drum magazines wouldn't hurt either, in case I need to lay down an extended suppression onto chaos havocs, so that my battle brothers may sneak around unopposed.
