Actually according to lore gork and mork are actual dieties in the warp. They have interacted with the chaos gods before. On one such occasion khorne was attempting to harness the power orks generate which was infringing on gork and morks power , they didn't take it too kindly and attacked home the god if blood war and violence can't stand up to 2 equal powered gods ( they are equal because the second most numerous race in the galaxy powers them ) and khorne lost that fight like chuck Norris lost in return of the dragon. Nurgle also met gork and mork in combat when he tried to create a plague that would wipe out orks gork and mork found out and well if khorne lost how do you think nurgle is going to do spoilers he lost so lore bomb!!!!
