Anyway heres the issue, i understand alot of you are fed up with the games problems but bursting through the wall like the kool-aid man yelling is not the way to get anything changed. You need to be polite, concise, and adept at getting your point across without making the person your talking to feel shitty. Because if you do that, heres the issue, why would they bother trying any harder if the best they feel they can do is shit to you? EDIT; Thanks for cleanup unnamed mods.
Nice thread! I play the game for a week now so I don't know much. Of course I'm frustrated by some weird mechanics (e.g. melee as we all know) but I also enjoy the game a lot. So I keep my hopes up and fingers crossed that the player base will grow over time with and when some important fixes are live
To be fair, at least there's still expansion and extension going on... unlike the cesspool of unfinished bullshit indie scams on steam. Stuff like Starforge that literally just cut and ran because they didnt have enough budget to make more than a pile of trash before the steam contract came to its end. At least with EC we still see faces on the twitch every week. We see patches and direct communication on the forums. It's not as often as some of us want, but its there. Everyone raged about melee for a month. Now melee is being looked at. It's always been like that since the start of alpha. They are usually a month or two slow to respond to glaring problems but they do get to them eventually. At least I can sit here in my chair and think to myself "huh. Maybe it will get good" rather than "it's a dead trashheap of a game that will never get looked at again" I've not played since I got bored as shit of RMB melee spam and the inability to do anything in melee as a ranged class. If there are significant updates to melee next patch as promised, even if there are still some minor issues, I'll be playing again.
Great game and only getting better. Been watching from the beginning of dev and I am a founder but never bought into all the 'promises'. Not really sure why anyone would. Outside of running the campaign in Space Marine this is the most fun I've had in the 40K universe. I get to kill orcs, elves and chaos that are other players. Simply a wonder.
Touche Anyway im tired, the point i've been trying and failing to make apparently, is that just because the game is not what you hoped it to be, doesn't mean you can't enjoy it but at the same time it doesn't mean you don't have to take it at face value. Enjoy the game while also making suggestions to fix it, don't fall to one side or the other or issues and conflict arise. Of course we can all fall into these ourselves, myself included (Cough, you win wiawyr). But inorder to allow the community to move forward into a future where were not fighting tooth and nail, we all need to have an open mind and try and see each others point of views. TL;DR Don't be r00d mate
