Well...there is this...? Steam's prototype PC game controller. I haven't kept up with the latest news on this and SteamOS but it's already a thing...sorta.

Seems weird to me not having thumbsticks but could be good.
Seeing that makes me wonder if it would be possible for EC to support the PS4 controller or players who prefer that would need something like DS4 Tool.

I'm doing keyboard and mouse, especially if I can remap melee block and attack to the side buttons of my mouse

looks like it has the same issues as android/ipad games, where touch controls are inferior to analog sticks

Well...obviously...but that's what bogfish wants

Even though I own a gamepad for my computer and use it in games, I've always found aiming with one lacking so keyboard + mouse it is for games like EC.

While i prefer KB+M generally, i will personally be switching between the two as and when needed, melee combat feels better on a controller for me, so it'll probably be controller for melee and KB+M for everything else, plus the odd times of laziness when i play non competitively and will just use a controller out of said laziness and relax
