Yeah right like everybody in chaos is using MoN, I have it on only one load out and barely use it at all. All your problems arise from the fact that you lack tactics...team work and tactics
How have the devs planned on implementing the Mandiblasters of the Striking Scorpions, and how long until they are actually in the game? Those are an iconic part of the Scorpions, and without them, the Scorpion is lacking.
Replace MoN with SB for last patch, except turn that up to 100%. Now here's the response CSM was given: run away, or use group tactics. Also, nobody on CSM has 50% defense against bolts. Hey, seems my banter did some good after all! While the shields were bugged in several ways, it was pretty lame of people to use them nonstop for an entire match, knowing that they were bugged and broken in positive ways for themselves. Never saw you drop the shield, although granted I don't watch you play or anything like that. Most LSM didn't either. If shield is played less, then that just means it has a counter and isn't king of the battlefield any more.
Why exactly? They're just as effective at keeping people up, and killing, as apothecary spam would be so not seeing much of a problem. Do you think mass poison spam would be that horrible or something? Maybe, haven't been the victim of that yet but, honestly I don't see how that would be that big of a siege breaker. Again, it's way too early to judge. Let's test for another week or two and see what happens. Awwwww, you stopped playing shieldbro? But you were one of my favorite guys to run into and fight. Shield is not being used any less however, there are still plenty of them including myself when I play LSM. Besides I would say the bigger issue is jump pack assault is crazy good at the moment making storm shield look like a worse option. Well if you manage to grab a point (sorcerers can't be everywhere you know) then they're going to look pretty silly trying to take it back with all those supports.
I mean, sure. That's the problem, but we all know that that's a problem. In a similar vein to the "hold back while decelerating to enable heavy attack charging" idea, I'd like to request "only vault over obstacles that you are holding a movement key towards"
I personally do not like the accuracy changes (particularly with the bolter). As a player, I consider there to be two basic types of shooters. Fast paced vs cover based. Examples of fast paced are Tribes, UT, and Overwatch. Examples of cover based are Rainbow 6: Las Vegas, and the Army of 2 series. I feel like this game shines more as a fast paced game than a cover based game, and as such, I want to be firing on the move constantly. I haven't tried the meta of crouching and zooming in to aim yet. I have tried stopping to zoom in, but being in the middle of everything while not moving has proven to be somewhat suicidal. I think that if we're going to start slowing the system down to require stopping and aiming, there should be cover practically everywhere. The cover system would also need to have all the bugs removed and work as well as in the cover based shooters that I mentioned. I think that a lot of us stopped using cover for anything other than weapons that require bracing, because it was hurting us more than helping. The only that I have been using cover (other than weapon bracing) is to block line of sight/hiding. To be clear, the part of cover that needs improvement is the ability to shoot effectively while actually in it. Right now, I am not enjoying playing bolter marines. I understand that the point of the accuracy changes is to balance the factions and add flavor. I don't have a problem with this idea as a concept, but I think that the current build is not fun and needs to either go back in the direction of keeping the game fast paced or it needs to have an amazing cover system like Rainbow 6 Vegas and/or Army of 2. Just as a side note, I think that Bolter effectiveness affects LSM more than Chaos, because 1) their supports can take the weapon and 2) they only have 1 class that can capture. Since Bolter is supposed to be the most common tactical weapon, any time it is nerfed is nerfing the faction as a whole. If weapon mods will dramatically be able to alter how any particular weapon works, then I don't know that it's a big issue. disclaimer: I don't know what all was changed in the hotfix, so if this was addressed, then my post can be ignored.
