The Blood Angels. The Blood Angels are a force to be reckoned with, They are the champions of the people! Hailing from Baal Secundus the Blood Angels Primarch Sanguinius grew from an infant to a full grown adult in less than a year. His angelic wings boring him across the plains of Baal. When a wandering band of mutants surprised his tribe, Sanguinius slew them all by himself, although they numbered over a hundred. Unlike some of his brother Primarchs, Sanguinius, upon seeing the Emperor for the first time, Immediately bent at the knee to the leader of mankind even though he was worshiped as a god among the people of Baal. After being taken from Baal to join his legion, Sanguinius and the Blood Angels served as the Emperors personal Bodyguards because of there purity and devotion to his cause. The Battle Lust that the Blood Angels showed was so great that many chapters to this day still compare there rage to that of the World Eaters Traitor Legion and refuse to fight alongside them. All the Primarchs without question spoke of Sanguinius purity, Saying that he was the Closest in Spirit to that of the Emperor Himself even sharing the Emperors vision of a Great Imperium, free of conflict in which man could prosper. The Blood Angels Suffer from the Red Thirst, A irrecoverable condition in which a Blood Angel marine is so overcome with rage that he begins to try and kill everything he sees on sight surpassing even the agents of Khorne in there fury in attempt to sake a thirst for blood. This condition has been known to present itself in whole squads of troopers at time, and on several cases has been known to even make a large Ork horde flee from the field of battle in fear of its ferocity. No other Primarch was as close to the Warmaster Horus as Sanguinius, even sparking Jealousy from some of his more petty brothers. When Horus turned Traitor he used his knowledge of the Red Thirst to betray Sanguinius on the plains of Signus Prime. Trapping them there with the Blood Thirster Ka'Bandha and a Slaanesh Greater demon named Kyriss in an attempt to lead them down the Eight fold path of Khorne. During the battle that ensued, Sanguinius was sorely wounded and temporarily incapacitated. He witnessed Ka'Bandha slaughter 500 of his sons with a single blow of his mighty axe. The psychic backlash of the deaths of so many of his sons blasted Sanguinius into unconsciousness. The Rage brought out in the Blood Angels by Sanguinius's Fall against Ka'Bandha and his horde of demons was so great that they are the only foes in recorded history to make an army of demons flee in terror from the battlefield, albeit totally losing there own self control in the process with many of the Angels becoming Slavering berserker warbands for the remainder of the battle. The Rage only Subsided once every single demon on the entire planet was ruthlessly hunted down and exterminated. After recovering from there rage, a brooding shadow formed on the souls of the blood angels legion, This was the first Appearance of the second genetic curse of the Blood Angels legion, The Black Rage. Throughout the rest of the Heresy the Blood Angles remained true to the Emperor with Sanguinius taking Command of the overall loyalist war effort. It is said that after Horus's fall, that Horus hated no other of his brothers more than he hated Sanguinius, seeing him as the perfect example that he had himself failed to reach. The Blood Angels and there Primarch led the defense of the outer walls of the imperial palace during the Siege of Terra. Buying Enough time for the loyalist wounded to retreat into the palace itself, Sanguinius then again found himself fighting the lord of all Blood Thirsters, Ka'Bandha. This battle culminated in Sanguinius breaking the demons spine over his knee, and casting his broken corpse into the horde of demons and traitors below, sealing the gate in which the demons on Terra were flowing through. He was the only Primarch in the Horus Heresy to fight the dreaded Arch-Traitor who he matched blow for blow until Horus resorted to blasting Sanguinius's Body and mind to pieces with all of the power of the Chaos Pantheon (Presumably the worst death in the entire galaxy for all time). His Self-Sacrifice created the chink in Horus's Armour that allowed the Traitor Warmaster to be slain by the Emperor but created a psychic backlash so great that it solidified the Black Rage within the blood angels, who to this day occasionally lose one of there brothers to the malady, who's minds are overcome and they believe they are Sanguinius fighting the arch traitor in the final battle again and again for all time until they themselves are killed. Surviving the Awful Split of there legion and every other legion due to the codex astartes, the Blood Angels Survived and prospered. They have since spawned more successor chapters than all other founding legions excluding the Ultramarines, who were spared the horrific battle for Terra. The Chapters that spawned from the blood angels and the angels themselves still keep a close brotherhood, with many chapters fighting together to rid the Galaxy of the heretic and the Xenos. Over the last ten thousand years they have acquired an honor roll that is larger than all except for maybe the Ultramarines with wars such as the second and third wars for Armageddon, The fighting of hive fleet Leviathan, and the Thirteenth Black Crusade being included within it. The Blood Angels held the Imperium together, so if it wasn't for the Blood Angels, there would be no Imperium of man. Quotes "And so it was that they fought - the Angel and the Beast. Titanic must have been that struggle, between those two gods amongst men. Long must they have rained blows upon one another, until it seemed that the life of the universe itself hung in the balance...Yet, Sanguinius was bested...Even as the blade of death waited to strike him, Sanguinius would not turn from the path of Light. Thus it was that Sanguinius passed from this world. He who was everything a man should be was taken from us by the Darkness. A thousand times a thousand years of lamenting will never atone for our loss. When the armor of your faith is buckled and torn, see in your mind that magnificent hero. Think upon his deeds and be humble, for his like will never walk the galaxy again." "For eleven hundred years, I have fought and I have seen the darkness in our galaxy. I have seen the vileness of the alien and the heresy of the mutant. I have witnessed the sin of possession. I have seen all the evil that the galaxy harbors, and I have slain all whose presence defiles the Emperor. I have seen what you will see. I have fought what you must fight, and I have slain what you must slay... so fear not and be proud, for we are the sons of Sanguinius, the protectors of Mankind. Aye, we are indeed the Angels of Death." ""There is a mystical streak to many of the Blood Angels' doctrines and also a strong belief that things can be changed for the better. After all, the process of transforming a scavenger into a tall, proud and handsome warrior is living proof of this tenet." "Treat them with honor, my Brothers. Not because they will bring us victory this day, but because their fate will one day be ours." So my Brothers. Do not fear the Foes of mankind...Because the Blood Angels will be there. Fighting for humanity until Victory is Won or Death is given.- The Eternal Warrior Grimdestiny.
Biel-Tan Eldar "The stars themselves once lived and died at our command, yet you still dare to oppose our will." Farseer Mirehn Bielann. The first thing I saw when I started getting interested into the Warhammer 40k universe was the Eldar. Whereas where all my friends went for the typical Space Marines or Orkies, I went for the friar but agile Eldar, just for the plain fact that they were f***en space elves and there's nothing more awesome than that! I choose the Biel-Tan not only because of their easy but stylise colour scheme, but because their existence felt the most honourable and glories! I got myself a small Biel-Tan Eldar army consisting of a falcon, a unit of swooping hawks, a unit of guardians, three wraithguard, a farseer, a single jetbike and Karandras, the pheonix lord of the Striking Scorpions. I stopped collecting a few years back when I had no one left to play against any more. They're all painted in the Biel-Tan colours, but could use a repaint. The reason why I love the the Biel-Tan is because they are the most warlike Eldar craft-worlds. They strive to bring back the glory of the fallen Eldar empire that controlled most of the universe. They are the most aggressive of all the Eldar craft-worlds and since they thrive on combat most of their population follow the Way of the Warrior. They employ more aspect warriors than any other craft-world; fire dragons, dark reapers, howling banshees, swooping hawks to name a few. I especially love the fire dragons and swooping hawks! These warriors work perfectly with their style of warfare as the elite fighting skills of their Aspect Warriors combined in a single, swift strike usually eliminate enemies before they can respond. The Biel-Tan craft-world are warriors foremost, they have a strong martial honour code and believe the best way to die is in battle. "There is no art more beautiful and diverse as the art of death." Laconfir of Biel-Tan. They have a strong familiarity to my favourite real-life counterpart; the Spartans. There's nothing more cooler than this in my opinion. Dwindling numbers of blood-born warriors that will fight to the death if it accomplishes their goal; in this case restoring their fallen empire and race by eliminating every other lesser race. "My only remaining pleasure is to bring death to the enemies of my Craft World." Lord-Phoenix Ironstorm, Spirit-Warrior Biel-Tan Craft World. ^ Eldar Biel-Tan Dire Avengers
Worshipers of the Blood God "And so, they fell upon their enemies. With chainaxes in hand and pure hatred in their hearts, the unleashed hounds of the Blood God..." *** Towering giants clad in blood-coated armor. Symbols, colors and ornaments obscured by the millennia of bloodshed and battle. None remembered what they used to be in the past. It was irrelevant. Every single warrior carried a weapon that promised gore and violence with its grim and sharp edge. They stood on the edge of the would-be battlefield. They shivered at the prospect of what awaited them. Their mumbling voices slowly turned into deranged growling. Their foes looked at them. They saw all that the warriors were. And the fools did not run. “The bounds were broken. The shattered shreds of humanity slipped away into a dark place in the back of the mind.” - Ever wrathful and free beyond the bounds of sanity! Each drew their weapon and unchained the beast in his heart! None knew what mercy or pity meant, for they knew one thing and that was to maim, kill and slaughter every single enemy that stood in their way! They howled as they rampaged towards the bloodbath that awaited them! - There was no order, no formation or strategy to their actions. They stampeded through the no man’s-ground, through lasgun flare and bolter fire. Wounds opened across their bodies, but none slowed down, not one cowered. Only when dead, a warrior fell, holes gaping in his body. And then, the stomping boots of his fellow warriors would pound his flesh into the blood soaked ground. "Fear and despair paved their way through the ranks of the most unfortunate foes. Feelings most primal coming from a desperate desire to survive." - Kill or be killed! That is the simple truth of faith! Blood most flow! Maim! Kill! Burn! Rend their souls asunder on the anvil of war and slaughter! Feed the Ever-thirsting Blood God! Break their backs! Let none escape with his life! Take their skulls for the Great Throne! Trough Carnage and Violence satiate the inner lust for blood! Feel the embers of hatred from the Lord of Rage himself! – A clash of bodies and metal. The charge was relentless and unstoppable. The hungry weapons of crazed warriors ate through the flesh of their foes. Each warrior took on ten smaller men, and emerged bathed in their blood. Nothing could stop the killing but the death of all. The fallen littered the ground which soaked their blood like a thirsting maggot. The screams, woes and cries of agony were heard all across the frenzied battlefield. To the insane mind it was a dream come true. To a sane one, it was only a nightmare of blood and corpses. "Bodies torn apart. Limbs scattered across the landscape. The living silenced forever in the grasp of Death. Their Blood, their Skulls, all were taken for the mightiest of gods to savor." Servants of the purest violence gazed at the blood painted scenery of the now-quiet battlefield. And deep in their hearts, they knew they were free. They howled at the red sky. “The deranged sound came from the very depths of their being. It resonated through them. It eased their pain. It made them whole again.” - Freedom in the thick of bloodshed ! No bounds of civility, no oaths to be upheld, no chains of duty, but for one singular purpose which bound them together and through which they achieved fulfillment beyond measure! - "And that purpose, that goal, was to serve the everlasting hatred and bloodlust of Khorne."

Craftworld Jhaden or the 7th Legion Planetary Defense Force (with actual 1970 soviet era 28mm model tanks converted for the PDF) or my baby Dark Eldar Kabal. OFC the Eldar win my passion as I currently have over 17k points in Miniatures and Titans. {Sold my Squats, Sisters of Battle and Tzeench armies} I still remember that Christmas day that my ex gave me a fully painted aspect army of the elder all to my surprise.....after that it was read and find out what this Game Workshop stuff was....battle on! I even casted and made 21 old skool Wave Serpents and was the proud owner of the RuneSight Yahoo Group back in the day. I won the Player choice award on my anniversary back in a tournament; as my Armorcast Landing pad made the perfect display for the PDF with every unit having a named commander with an Berverage name. "Captain Morgan, Sgt Gordon, Colonel Skky, Major Hennessy, and so on": It was wonderful to bring my beautiful and patient wife in her hot red dress out in front of a crowd of 75 gamers to receive my award and then take her out on the town afterwards!! Have not played 40k since Heroclix came out in 2002. Bought the PC games then heard of THQ mmo... joined Rappelz to learn to play an mmo ....only to be disappointed with THQ. After a dozen plus years Ive pulled out all my stuff and am serious about thinking of diving back in. Like comics fueled my passion for Heroclix and vice versa...I wonder if 40k and EternalCrusade can ignite another decade of warfare for me? Now my son and daughter are spending this week playing Space Hulk, the Doom Of the Eldar, and digging out all the old stuff and beggin for fresh paint! This game is gonna be fun for all of us.
:Begin recording- From across space, it moves slowly, like a shadow wreathed in a comet like glow for its only traveling at sub light speeds. As the Ethereals predicted there is something Important on the planet but not to the Tau to many other races and letting them gain access could spell the end for all Tau. So sent Forth was the First Shas 'O trained in the tactics of Shadowsun, he is with out battle experience and thus without a Title, & with little to no idea of what awaits for him on Arkhona, one thing for sure, there will be WAR. Awakened from there long sleep they look onward as the planet is already surrounded by the Imperium of Man and the foil Sights of Ork Roks, The Ethereals caution "why fight an enemy when they are already fighting wait tell there numbers are drained", the Shas 'O heeds this warning as his strike force is far from home and with no reinforcements a careless step could end the Tau's ability to fight before they ever go to WAR. So they watch with there massive Colony ship hidden in the system moving from place to place to avoid the incoming Forces of humans an Orks, Only time will tell when they will be spotted, then will be the moment that the Tau have to commit or retreat, all Tau spend there time wisely, they watch, they learn they wait, for a Tau Shas 'o trained in the arts of ShadowSun Controlling the battle space or avoiding the battle are the only options. They watch on ward as the Humans battle the corrupted Chaos humans, as the Orks vie for control The war bosses seemingly to have no communications but still act as one giant green wave, Many a Tau and Ethereal alike have tried to comprehend the tactics of the Ork only Farsight had the Insight to learn what makes the green Skinned humanoid so special. Though he personally was lacking battle experience, the Tau can pass on there knowledge and a as such the Shas'o has implanted the MirrorCodex and all the accumulated knowledge of Space marines and Orks is but a thought away. As they watched as they Learned, a New foe is spotted the ever allusive Eldar, this appearance was unexpected & they may seek what is on Arkhona also, if so the Tau have a much harder fight in store for them with the appearance of the Eldar, the Ethereals caution they may be discovered, an so they push as far away from Arkhona as they can, Farr enough to run small drone scouting missions instead of having the colony ship in sensors range were it may be detected. The Tau must know what is on Arkhona, they must have it or destroy it, and yet they don't yet know what it is. -End recording Short Observation by Dragun16, Earth cast XV8 engineer, and pilot. 5th Generation of the 2rd sphere Expeditionary force, rank: earth cast Engineer 2nd grade. Eldar of Craftworld Alaitoc. One of the most remote and enclosed of the craftworlds, Alaitoc, millennia after the Fall, continues its path among the stars. For ten thousand years, the Eldars of Alaitoc live and follow the teachings of the Path. They are driven by puritan commitment to this conception, even bordering to fanaticism, making their minds sharp in unwavering shield against the vagaries of Slaanesh. As a result of such fervor, many Elders of Alaitoc lost sight of their chosen path and the Aspect Shrines of Alaitoc are home to a number of Exarchs, each serving an aspect of the Bloody-handed God, reflecting one of the sides of Kaela Mensha Khaine. And at the same time Alaitoc known for the frequency with which its Eldar entered voluntary exile. By taking the Path of the Outcast, they chose the way of wandering among the stars away from home, but remaining loyal to their kin, no matter how far they went. These warriors, known as Starstriders, are the invisible blades of Alaitoc, and the eyes and ears of the craftworld in the vast galaxy. Thanks to their prudence, invisible blows at the time when the warhost of Alaitoc goes on the offensive the enemy is weakened, because his troops for weeks or even months of chased shadows, spraying their strength, without having time to gather them together to counter-attack. "There is no corner of the galaxy, which is not experienced the watchful gaze of Alaitoc." Elarique Swiftblade, Autarch of Alaitoc. The reason why I like Eldar of Alaitoc is because they most fully embody the Path of Eldar in all its forms, and at the same time I admire their brave rangers such as Twelve Outcasts of Alaitoc , who were able to get to the ancient Eldar worlds within the Eye of Terror and return lost soulstones.
I love the posts of other Eldar, even the Dark ones, one can feel much better that there are so many of his kin here, I really wish there are many Eldar players who know which race they like and know much about them (Not like humans. not like mon-keigh, they see only potentional targets of their emotional despair)
