I was under the impression that it was implemented but I guess not. I was typing up a pretty large thread up in general discussion when suddenly the backspace button struck and sent me back to the last webpage rather than deleting some letters. Anyway 20 minutes of typing up the thread gone, and when I went back, the whole thing was gone. So yeah, autosaving feature when making posts/threads would be quite handy.
