  2. Has there been some announcement that they don't plan to do it?
I know that there was the minor fuss because something was poorly-worded in a Reddit thread, but then they clarified that it would happen after launch, not during alpha/beta.
Or did I misunderstand that exchange?

As far as I know there's no Free to Waagh anymore, there 'might' be Free to Waagh after launch, 'maybe'.

No, as in, after early access.
  6. So what, exactly, is the problem with the FAQ? It says it "will be" available, not that it is now.

"Q: What business model will the game use?
Eternal Crusade will be available in retail, for digital purchase, and a free-to-play option we call “Free-to-Waaagh!”. By purchasing a copy of the game, you will have access to it forever with no need for a subscription. There will be post-launch expansions as well as a cash shop for aesthetic customizations and side-grades.

You can play Free-to-Waaagh only as an Ork Character. In contrast to the premium Ork progression, some options will be locked, but you’ll be able to go anywhere and fight for the Waaagh! If you like it, but don’t want to pay the full price, you can unlock some of the missing options with micro-transactions."

Based on their current stance Free to Waaagh might not happen, so saying that it will happen in the FAQ will only cause confusion. They should be removing all info saying that they will be doing free to waaagh until they have made a clear decision about whether they are going to do it or not.

  8. If you are going to spend your time looking through the site for things they intend to do but might end up not being able to, I think you may have a long day ahead.
Ultimately, I think it is pretty widely accepted that as long as a company intends to include something, they leave it in the marketing materials (which, really, is all a website is in this case) until it is certain they will not.

It also has Terminators as one of the listed classes, while the Terminators were confirmed for post launch first content update ages ago.

Its just outdated as hell, im very much surprised they havent fixed it till now.
