Fallout? Well, I have enjoyed FO3 and NV so far, so I keep an eye to this. My lore-knowledge limits to what my friends have said about those games getting wrong.
As i said im up for it And for an idea on a vault tec experiment how about a experiment to see if they could make americans speak with british acsents
Techno-heresy! Vault 42 already exists and is not a cannibalization experiment but a light-deprivation and claustophobia test. Just nitpicking... I am against Charisma since it will drop in an unnecessary mechanic and a division between players that love it as a percent base (Fallout 3) and standardized (Fallout NV);
Just keep data for me handy in all honesty. Deathwatch Station RP has an intense inventory and progression system which occupies me quite a bit. (Just because I still haven't made a proper database yet for the chars yet...) So I would need aid in Fallout to keep individual stats & party inventory up-to-date. Narrative =/= Perks. And it is completely up to you lot. You get to pick your SPECIAL stats and that's it. If you want to call dibs on professions you did, sure go ahead. It's just flavor anyway. And no you are totally wrong. It would depend whether who has more Strength or Intelligence and according Perks. I am planning on a VATS mechanic, however loot is party-focused so it would not affect that all too much, but I will see what I can do. perhaps whomever has the highest luck and the best finding perks will be the determiner for that. I.e. everyone in the party has 3 luck, now there is one guy who has 7. So obviously I take his number to roll for better/more loot. We will have ALL the SPECIAL stuff, so no worries. I just focused at combat because that is going to be most frequently used. I don't LOVE those ideas, though it sounds very vault-tec, still convinced cannibalism is the way to go. Fallout Bible is non-canon, though And it was the only thing that mentioned it. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_Bible The Fallout Bible is a collection of documents containing background material for the first Fallout games. They were compiled, written and released by Chris Avellonein 2002 on a semi-regular basis. According to Avellone, however, the Bible is no longer considered canon.[1] But since I am a friendly guy.... We shall be then Vault 41 :X Charisma will find it's place, however only with NPC interactions and necessary for perks. I suggest that only whomever emerges as leader levels that up, because it will grant group bonuses first and foremost and will reduce purchase prices and will allow to persuade for quests, in certain situations, etc.
FYI @Colapse - If you play as a dog or other sort of animal. You are going to have SPECIAL, too and unique own perks. And if they get you doggie armor like in FO4 you can wear that stuff, too. lol. (Very tempted to make the party available to find/build a translator from dog-to-human, as well, sometimes later in the game. So you can actually talk to them, ahahahah)
Cybernetic upgrades Ie dog to human translation device that is sergicaly implanted into his head and then alows him to talk to us (as a potential mad scientist i would volountere to do the experiment)
Wait does that mean we can even get him Cybernetic Upgrades as well? having a Robo hound sounds awesome. It makes me aslso wonder about what kind of crazy groups we will find in Florida in fallout.
Stop with your frikkin' Cyber-Mastiffs, no. Shee..... Just a collar with a voice modulator basically <.<
