Congratulations, You have sealed the fate of the game and killed it by going F2P with the ability for guilds to completely pug stomp.

You have done nothing to combat it or encourage guild vs guild or even allow them to play together.

They constantly say "We would play Guild Vs Guild if we could"

You had a perfect reason to put a stop to it through war party limits and opening up Guild matches.

Instead you went F2P and now guilds such as CSM, WP, MYST and more are just ruining the game experience for new players. (I named them because they were the first 3 that came to me which I have seen doing it. The previous thread got locked despite not breaking any rules so may as well name and shame)

Not everyone wants to be part of a huge guild, Players like to stick with there close friends or even jump on for solo play but you do nothing to encourage it.

Already I have seen players leaving because of this.

Despite these guilds claiming to like the game and wanting to see it succeed they definitely make sure they go out the way to ruin the new player experience.

You need to make some changes right now or the playerbase is going to go back to what it was previously in a few days.

F2P was a mistake for Eldar... 3 games in a row where the lead is given to new players who doesn't communicate/give lead. No one listen to advice/order. Just by looking you spot new players and vet...

Eldar need cooperation to win. LSM against eldar: LSM f2p rushing, eldar can't kill them then whine about LSM being OP then do shit for the rest of the game.

  3. I've only heard of one guild so far going big war parties and mercilessly crushing people.

Amusingly it was an Eldar guild.

Well today is Friday and most big clans have "ops" or "events" tonight so we'll see what happens tonight. At least there are always lots of experienced players on on Fridays to help all the new bloods.

I just posted this in another topic, but it's already halfway down the page and was 10 pages long, so I think I got in at the end of the topic. So I'll just put it here...

I think they need to focus less on bringing new players and focus on what they already have. Let me explain.

So I own a business, purchased it 8 months ago. It was a shit show when I bought it, old owner gave up on it admittedly and said she couldn't seem to care anymore. So I took it over. First thing everyone around me says is "time to advertise!! U gotta fix the old reputation of that place and fast, get Internet advertising, radio, papers, etc".

Horrible idea. Worst mistake you can make in business is to purchase a failing product/service/business and advertise it as being better than what it already is. I didn't advertise a thing for 6 months until I got the standards up to par, reliable, honest employees (fired 75 percent of the old staff), and changed the procedures and the way everything was done. Moved it to a new building, renovated and only now am I advertising. The worst thing you can do is bring new customers/clients into a broken and unfunctional situation. The people who are dedicated to going to you either are blind, don't care, or don't know any better that there's a better service/product out there for them. The new customers are usually people you are stealing from competition. So you better damn well make sure you wow them when you get them brought over to try you out.

TBH, I don't think this game is ready for F2P. They're gonna piss off a huge customer base and they will never come back. Whether or not they do it indirectly or not isn't the point. If you got holes in your ship, bale the water and fix it first before you take on more passengers.

In its current state the game discourages PuG play. I deleted this game a month ago, and reinstalled 2 or three times to try to get myself back into it. Couldn't do it. I used to play in an eldar guild and left cause of the stupid amount of politics and people rubbing each other the wrong way. So I'm used to being in the position of stomping PuGs. After each match I would apologize to PuGs, as it was obviously not fun for them. I left the guild and tried playing single player. It's pretty competitive vs other PuGs, but if say half the matches end up against guilds, and there's no point of even playing. Because they play so coordinated, it's hard to even get a lot of kills or points. Played yesterday and 3 matches were vs VI. After getting stomped each match I realized nothing has changed since I got the game back around October. I don't hate this game at all, but it certainly works for guild play.

If there was a way they could funnel huge guild warparties to only face other guild war parties with a few PuGs sprinkled in, it wouldn't be so bad. Problem is most guilds treat pugs like crap anyway, so why would they wanna play beside guilds anyway? I know this cause I used to be in team speak or discord chat, and fellow guild members wouldn't even stop to help up a downed pug cause they would say they are useless, or don't know how to play anyway. Or they wouldn't bother communicating with them through typing what our plan was, as they saw them as being too stupid to follow strategy. I found this amusing, as some of the best players I've seen are un-Guilded.

    My two cents.
