"Well theoretically time is no matter of the objective... We only have to get rid of him and well if possible do secondary and tertiary objectives." Gylthran shrugged, not able to restrain his mouth, especially not since he is right. "Let us simply go with a plan already."
"Perhaps but every moment spent here is a chance that they can perform some heinous ritual or make our lives that much more difficult. Lets go with the smoke mist and advance under it's cover, we'll make things work as we need. What do we wish to do once inside? Split into teams or stick together? "
"Not sure, the only entrance regards our intel is the main bridge which has to be lowered... May require to take a hostile or charade one of us as some kind of special guest for their lord so they may grant access, but tell them to not alarm him since we are a surprise guest or some sort...." Gylthran was really not too much of the cunning type, but a creative mind nonetheless, that is after all what brought him into the Deathwatch despite his youth.
Joining the others Tyranous was listening to the proposed decisions and spoke up "we will go in under the cover of smoke, we will use it to draw them out and lower the bridge. We will split up into three groups, group ONE with the objective of simply locating the leader and taking out any guards you may encounter with absolute silence, group TWO will head to their armory and look for explosives to blow this entire structure into memory, group THREE will provide over-watch and constantly notify the others on enemy movements on top and outside of the stronghold. Team three is vital, without knowing the enemy position there is no way for us to complete this mission successfully with all of us returning alive" Taking a moment for the decision to sink in with the others he spoke again "Team ONE will be Furion and Scytalles, remember to stay to the shadows and only use your knives to take out the enemy unless its absolutely necessary to fire your weapon, if you do fire, get yourselves out of there immediately! Team TWO will be Cryos and Mayron, same goes for you, silence is key...! Team THREE will by Gylthran and myself, we will notify you of all enemy positions and movements. We will have your location on our auspex. If anything is to go wrong I will create a big enough distraction for those inside to get the primary object done, WE WILL NOT FAIL THIS DAY" Letting the teams gather up and ready themselves to walk right into the pits of chaos, Tyranous reminded them of their objective "Remember men, we are here to deliver the will and judgement of the Emperor upon the heretic. With righteous fury we will strike and we will prevail, we work as one, we move as one and we will all return to deliver it again as one!" making sure everyone understood, Tyranous moved off toward the Rhino to ensure the smoke canisters were targeted for the correct location...
Gylthran nodded. "Guilliman's children know how to make tactics, I concur on that idea." He said and stood up, relaxing his feet a bit.
"Fine i agree" as he spoke cryos mutterd something under his breath "just when i thought id get to shed some blood"
Meron racked his Shotgun. "My kind of plan, lets get to it. " Laying low and behind cover he awaited the quiet thwumps of smoke canisters being launched before starting to stalk forward toward the side entrance, keeping operational silence on his part, trusting the others would inform him to move or halt as needed.
Tyranous approached the Rhino driver, giving him specific details on where to pop the smoke cannisters in order to draw the attention of the guards inside, hopefully luring a few of them out into the open and making the hidden gaurds positions known to Gylthran who will be marking the enemy movements through his scope... Heading back to the group that was readied he spoke "alright marines, the smoke will pop in 60 seconds, ready yourselves for infiltration. Gylthran, make note of all enemy movements, keen a keen eye on the guards upon the walls... Your aim is better than mine at this distance... I will ready up for an emergency distraction if need be and find another vantage point of the walls to provide maximum coverage" Taking a few steps away he turned his head "remember men, silence is key. Work as one and we all return together" Moving off to the Rhino, notifiying him of his emergency procedure to draw the attention of the encampment outside into the open by driving close along the walls as Tyranous mans the mounted gun... The team was ready, silence was key, he simply hoped the others got this message... They had good training and now its time to see what they can all do together, this was their first mission, and by no means was he going to let it be anyones last!! OOC Edit - manning the Rhino gun is the emergency backup plan and isnt what im currently doing just in case that came across unclear, im currently moving towards another vantage point to look over the stronghold
Meron looked over to Cryos as the smoke began to envelope the area, the dispersion thinning it out enough to appear in a consistency more in line with a fine evening fog. Staying low he nodded forward and began to advance alongside the other warrior, eyes alert for any traps in the field or unexpected shifts in the fog. Slowly he began to outpace the Tactical Marine, reaching the side entrance first he lay low just at the wall's base, ears focused in on each footstep above him.
cryos move alongside meron with a slower speed but he also cheacked the soroundings as he moved usin his helmet to try and find any targets in his way his knife in hand ready to strike if he needed
