The Deathwatch team sat in their Rhino, the orders were clear, no questions were allowed, only execution. This team was not elected for free-roaming, for own ideas, for creativity, only to execute. No matter what. If it meant to leave someone behind to succeed in the given mission.

Primary Objective: Kill the leader of the Cult in his fortress.
Secondary Objective: Find out more information about the Cult and their leader
Tertiary Objective: Destroy the facility if possible

The leaders name and looks were as unique as the Swarm Lord on the battlefield, like an Avatar of Khaine among a warhost, like a Greater Daemon among a chaos incursion.

Ghyrritius Prime, a self given name of an Astartes that got lost in the Warp and was driven mad, somehow escaped and conquered the main settlement of this feral world, them praising him like a god and he thinking he is one.

Former Chapter unknown as the Power Armor is completely tainted in black and red, no insignia, no decoration, no nothing. His cult is weak ... For now, it has to be broken before something like the Badhab War happens again. Or like the events of Terra Nova.

The Rhino would drop the squad off in the middle of the dark, the enemy lacking high-tech defenses and therefor it would be an operation of sneaking and planned attack. A direct attack would only alert the enemy Astartes and since there is as good as no information upon him he could be a Chaos Sorcerer and summon Daemons of the Warp and kill all and everyone of the surrounding systems included.

He had to be disposed of in a clean way and it was the Deathwatchs goal. There were rumors, tiny leaks that some sort of mutation or 'blessings' are going on within the fortress and only the most loyal followers are allowed to see and receive those blessings. As far as the Ordo Xenos is concerned it could be an operation desk to turn them into Astartes, therefor the enemy strength is to be expected as 'Unknown'.

The Rhino transport tank came to a hold and opened it's main ramp on the rear.

The Fortress looked thousands of years old, looking like a withered citadel, perhaps some kind of former church. Two walls, an outer and one immediate around the fortress area. It had only one access and that was the main bridge which had to be lowered. There was no other way around to get into the heart of the citadel.

Although the first hurdle was to overcome the outer wall. Dozens of Guards patrolled in teams of five among the wall, two held Torches, two primitive swords and bows and the last had always a bolter. The leader may have gone mad, but he was not totally stupid.

Scytella walked out and immediately went behind an rock outcroping, taking out his magnoculars to look at the defenses. "5 man patrols along the wall, suggested course of action to get past them: Distraction. Any other ideas nearing intelligence?" The scout said in a droning business-like tone.

Gylthran readied his Sniper Rifle and used his Targeter as telescopic sight which was linked with the weapon. "The Lords of Destruction aim on breaking the occupant, not the fortress." He remarked while looking at the intervals of the men. "They are too close I would say to sneak past... But what would make a good distraction? First I say we shall find an entry point, distract the enemy away from it and then go inside." The Scout suggested.

Cryos walked behind the scouts "we could slit one groups knecks as a distraction"

Seeing as the others had been keen to bring along their Sniper Rifles Mayron took along his Shotgun. "I can infiltrate well enough if I can get close. I only need covering fire. " He had positioned himself out of sight on his stomach so they weren't all cradled up in the same piece of cover. Being only a scout his armor thankfully lacked the bright Greens and White insignia of his chapter, instead only wearing black scout carapace much more suited toward stealth.
