"Enemy Astartes approaching. " Meron pulled himself into a wall so he would be out of sight when the Astartes entered, pulling his scout cloak over himself to conceal his symbols he left his other hand to grip his knife. Was it worth a shot trying to manipulate this one as well or too much a risk? "Going to attempt another bit of manipulation, if that fails it may get messy. Overwatch please advise. "

"negative, take this one out silently" Tyranous voxed back... it was about to all begin, if this foe gets off an alarm then he would need to be ready to distract the camp to allow Meron the time he needs to finish the main objective...

"Gylthran, maintain over-watch. I'm moving to the Rhino for emergency distraction procedure" as he mad his way to the Rhino he mag locked his bolter to his thigh, praying to the Emperor for him to guide Meron's blade true and swift...

This was their first mission and everyone was still learning about one another's strengths... Tyranous simply had faith in his brothers ability to perform, he hoped he wasn't wrong in doing so.

"Overwatch to Tyranous and Meron, suggest to simply wait and see where the Astartes goes, perhaps he heard of the call from Pawn?" Gylthran informed both of them. Patience was a virtue and Company Captain and Master of Recruits Tyrael made sure all of the Lords of Destructions scouts knew so.

    EDIT:

The Astartes walked into the center of the compound, his head was about to turn towards Meron.

"That's a negative, told the Pawn to bring them all into the Armory once it was rigged up. " Meron silenced himself sharply as the Astartes entered, knife in hand he advanced without a sound, as the Marine turned toward him the blade stabbed up toward his neck, intending a quick and clean ambush on the enemy.

The Marine fell dead without a sound, but it's corpse would reveal enemies at hand. Meron could see the that the Marine had no eyes, the helmet on the front was broken, missing the face part as if letting him breathe and smell. But the eye sockets were empty, cleanly removed. The nose was bigger than usual and the mouth only half-open. The other half simply seemed to have no way of opening. The ears were somewhat pointy like an Eldar, but were still human.

No doubt, this creature was a fail-born and still used, a Mutant, a rejected Marine by the Gene-Seed.

Meron relished the kill against the blasphemy of an Astartes. A worthy kill he thought and many more were to come. It was quite the test of his strength to drag the power armored figure, bringing him as close to the deathly smells in the room as possible figuring it would cover up the scent of fresh blood if it were smothered by other such assaults on his senses.

Returning to the door way he checked on his tools progress in gathering the other renegades within the Armory, just waiting for the most of them to gather before setting off on his move... "Enemy neutralized. Corpse hidden, waiting to see how the Pawn performs. Think I'm going to detonate the Armory first, take out a sizeable chunk of the enemy force then we can regroup in the chaos and deal with their enemy. Don't fancy my chances alone, even with a proper ambush. "

The Vox on the Astartes helmet of the dead man or also known as Merons' victim came to life. "T-T-The Master.... W-w-w-wishes you.... In the A-a-armory."

Though the Deathwatch member could see how a mere human walked into the little house which he thought to be the control-room for the bridge to the citadel. He seemed confused as he was looking around on the compound.

"Overwatch to Meron, seems like a cultist wonders what happened to the guard at the bridge controls." Gylthran forewarned him, in case he didn't notice.

"Plug him out of sight if you can. " Taking the helmet from the Mutant Marine Meron figured it would be good to have an idea of enemy movements at least. Using his knowledge of Astartes vox-systems he tried to use the helmet for communication, hoping to get a private line to the Pawn. "There is one by the Bridge Control, he seems suspicious. Call him over as well, when all have gathered within the Armory. Prepare to detonate it, you shall not die my brother. The Master shall snatch your soul, you shall have a new body if you succeed. "

The Pawn said nothing but peaked out of the armory, gesturing to the one at the guards house, but he was suspicious and walked up to him, looking right and left, apparently scared that anyone sees him with the abomination.

Both then walked back inside the armory. "Meron, if you can lower the bridge, the others may enter the Citadel compound as well, there are no other guards around the bridge right now." Gylthran informed him and the others which were still within the base, hiding from the patrols.

"May raise some suspicion, moving to control room but I won't drop it till we've got most of their forces near the Armory. Take out as many as possible. " Meron began to whisk himself away, taking cover inside the small room and biding his time. Talking into the stolen helmet once more the Salamander sighed. "You are taking too long! The Master grows displeased, tell them to gather their or risk his wrath this instant! " There was a hiss to his voice this time to help sell the illusion.
