No, feedback is indeed important. But blasting your opinion all over everybody, is a poor method of doing so.
I made a post, People responded criticizing my opinion. I'm pretty sure that's not "blasting my opinion".
Its not about the banner or any item, it is the fact once something is changed which was supposed to be set in stone that this is something you get for this amount of cash, what if they decide you get too much stuff in a different package and start removing stuff? Because a guy asked nicely to remove the RTP points from xeno package because they have too much, once something is subject to change, everything is a subject to change. In the same way if they give us black templars someone is going to say "Oh yeah, why not this chapter then or that chapter." Maybe i paid 80 dollars for just that banner, and then they added it for free in a 40 dollar package, i feel kind of ripped of here. This is the issue, the consumers were never asked.
You can get a refund if you think that the warrior pack is better than whatever other pack you have. Of course, to stand by your word you should get the refund RIGHT NOW and then NOT upgrade back if it turns out your SPECULATION is entirely wrong.
Miguel thank you for the update. Also for the following week your only motto should be Don'tWorry, BeHappy and HaveFun. We'll be waiting for you, oh captain, my captain.
Can't they give the higher tier packages the bonuses of the lower tiers as well? I mean it will still cost RP to equip
The principle here is a breach of trust, ignore the cost of the item in question and focus on the precedent being set, and before i say anything else, my impression was certainly that miguel implied warrior packs would be getting the banner. We have all seen pre-order DLC become availabe in GOTY editions later and similar situations, but i think Eternal Crusade just set a record for it here ;-) what i feel has happened is miguel by implying that because a user requested an item the higher cost packs had, and with only the best intentions in mind, agreed to this, he has broken faith and trust of those that purchesed the sgt and captain. all purchases give access to the game all levels of cost stand an equal chance of being selected for alpha and beta what people have paid for in sgt and captain packs are these items, these are the only things that differ apart from a slight % bonus to points. so i agree fully that it is not right for them to be given an item that was nbot included in their pack level, the cost has absolutely nothing to do with the situation. If a member spent $35 on a heresy weapon and then sees that same weapon given for free on a pre-order from game in a year, that would be the exact same principle here. And people need to be able to voice their opinion on negative views as well, without fear of being abused by others, the member who raised this point has an equal eligibility to voice his viewpoints as the member who request the addition of the banner. Hopefully this will be sorted in a way that keeps everyone happy and doesn't leave a bad taste through the rest of the founders time, here's a few ways i can see that being achieved, and maintaining the sense of fairness the developers wish to have in this game and community. 1. Those who purchased the warrior pack can purchase a banner for $10 not RTP. 2. Each level recieves a level specific banner of increasing splendor or even allow customisation, higher the pack the more you can personalise your banner. 3. All packs recieve a free gizmo, warriors get a banner, sgts banner and a special helmet, captains banner, helmet, and cloak. I personally do not belive for a second Miguel meant any harm by allowing thos who bought the warrior pack would be getting an item previously restricted to the other ranks, and i have faith that any adjustments they do will be fair accross all three levels for founders. Enjoy your break Miguel i'm sure this will of settled down by the time you get back ;-)
