I'm very surprised by these results. Is this just a small website without many readers to vote (without getting lead to it, like we are). Because, while I personally am way more hyped about it than anything else on there, I can't imagine that there is actual more hype for such a comparatively small game, like this one, as there is for WoW or Overwatch (though it's definitely not an MMO, and I have no idea why it's on this list). Hopefully I'm underestimating us and this game blows up. I'm afraid that it'd be hard for me to play anything else if this game really does get large and have significant longevity.
Definetly voted for EC. The only others I even knew or couldve cared about were Wow:Legion and Overwatch. However, I got tired of WOW since Mist of Pandaria. I bought and played warlord of draenor, not even until end, got bored. Not gonna play Legion. Overwatch is way too cartoony for my taste, gameplay seems boring to me. they offered me to play beta one weekend. I didn't, cause I could care less and wont be buying it. Not saying it cant be good, but I don't like it, and I'm not purchasing that ever. Even if Behaviour could only implement about half of what they promised I would still enjoy it more than all those other ''most anticipated'' MMORPG. Even if there were never ever any expansions. Even if they never implement guard which is my favorite faction, it still be better and ten times more enjoyable to me. And thats coming from a guy who played and enjoyed diablo 1, 2, 3, warcraft 2 and 3 with XPact, WOW, starcraft 1 and 2, so yeah, usually, I love blizzard games, I still do, but I still think they are going away from what I liked in their games, the more time passes, the more it feels oriented toward a younger audience, too simple, too cartoony, poor story or loosy story telling, boring gameplay mechanics. WH40k can feel ''cartoony'' at times with orks comic relief and space marines giant shoulder pads and smurf look, but there is still always that grinding feel to it that there will be a lot of violence, blood, and darker themes of corruption, evil, torture, etc. with complex enjoyable game mechanics. So yeah, considering the future of the competition, I am quite happy that Eternal Crusade actually exists because apart from that there isn't really any upcoming game I'm excited about at all in any genre whatsoever. Until Warhammer total war which we have almost no info on and if it ever happens: Dawn of war 3 (which we only know sega secured the website domain without any further official announcement or hint).
