I still dont know why SE are so bad, I REALLY enjoyed the likes of Just Cause 2 and Sleeping Dogs, have I just not experienced much of SE? Every company wants money and exists to do so, every company will want changes but I would assume SE would be the lesser of evils? I havent heard or read much about negative opinions of the company.
Like some people said, they are a meh company. Not as bad as EA or Activision. Actually I dont hate Activision all that much, I just wish they would do new things instead of repeating them, if they can do that then they might make really great games. I also liked JC2 and Sleeping Dogs, so maybe SE wont screw this up after all.
I too really enjoyed Just Cause 2 and Sleeping Dogs, however in terms of MMOs their recent track record is fucking abysmal.
Not that I dont believe you, but what specific things of the MMOs did they do abysmal on? Just curious
I suppose somewhere there is a newsletter already write for us, but not today was planned (probally during the E3) so we must wait for the complete info.
The company as a whole has changed. FFXI was AMAZING, FFXIV on the other hand is a complete mess and is to this day.
Do they really take us for fools? They could have set it to "12:20 Warhammer 40k Eternal Crusade (unannounced)" And then we could at least be left wondering if it was a mere mistake. As it stands any idiot can tell that it's just as it was and obviously the broadcast schedule didn't change. Anyone with an interest in the game will see this thread and realized that Squeenix is the publisher. Here's a screenie I found to reinforce the point.
There are worse choices. I haven't kept up with SE but I can see it doing alright. The EC devs have been very careful so far, seems like. I don't think they would choose a company that was totally against all their goals. at least the game will be pretty and by pretty I mean HORRIFYING
