I did all of these and I'm not going to pick at the depths of my computer to get around this one bug that I've never experienced before just to play a Mod.
you realize that less than 1-5% of people CANT play the mod? haha I am pretty sure its something you are either doing incorrectly or you have setup incorrectly in steam folders. the first few items I mention are not even real steps. everyone should have steam, the game and played it at least once.
Thank you for insulting my intelligence, I'm doing nothing wrong, it's apparently a bug in my Windows Explorer that has apparently 20 different workarounds (of which I've already tried 5) that I've never had an issue before, and I don't feel like deep striking into my registry in order to find a line that doesn't appear to be there.
Are you having this problem only in explorer? Try Total Commander http://www.ghisler.com/download.htm, maybe it helps.

Do you guys have a lot of people interested in EC that can't afford it? I'd like to donate 5 Warrior Packs to a tournament and advertise it on these forums to get more contestants.
go for it. I know a lot of people still haven't bought warrior packs because they are witing to see how the game turns out. When I did a ork boy give away it got like 30 participants.
