Since Eldar Warlocks have only one offensive spell at the moment let me suggest another alternative. Eldrich Bolt Moderate damage, accurate, possible stun, possible miscast, cooldown time. Doing possibly 50-70 dmg with some %chance to stun an enemy for short duration Range negotiable. Small percentage of miscast (varied upon circumstance of hp lvl and/or mana level?) upon which nothing happens and mana is consumed. Cooldown: Similar to banshees scream cooldown. I think it would be a cool utility with a possible variety of usage, for example maybe upon larger distance hit it does less damage but is capable to stun multiple targets in a small radius and upon close range hit does slightly more damage but has a chance of stunning only 1 target. Tell me what you think my kin and please let something like this or similar happen in the game
Having something that has a chance percentage of doing something (or not) is not quite the Eldar way, nor is it relevant in a FPS style Multiplayer game. Your spell DOES something. If it hits, it deals its stuff; if it doesn't hit, then you missed and too bad. I'm not saying this is a bad idea, I'm just thinking you have to rely on your spell to do something for you, and the spell needs to be reliable. You can't land headshots and "Oh, yeah, a headshot has 50% chance of dealing double damage, but 50% chance to do nothing...." then you just go for body shots. You might have a spell with very low accuracy, but stunning reliably, and if you can cast it, it goes off. You can't have this 50% chance of not getting your spell go off. My opinion though.
