"Your words bring much needed certainty, Caerys. As ever, your wise council will lead us to victory," he said in his usual sarcastic tone. "Now, about the leadership. My friend Zu'ark over there obviously enjoys carrying that burden, so why not let him do it again? Look upon the brighter side - if he accidentally leads us straight into, lets say, a Genestealer lair, we know who is to blame!"

Teras furrowed his brow as he disregarded the Dark Reaper and Shadow Spectre a moment, studying their next battle ground with no small bit of anxiety. An Eldar craft left adrift in the warp....if daemons were about he had little doubt they would be Slaanesh's own fiends stalking the wraithbone halls. Clearing his throat the Dire Avenger spoke.

"While our Mymearan brothers Craftworld may have trained their warriors in tactics befitting of such a mission I would like to put Razzauil forward to lead, IF he feels he can apply that hunter instinct of his toward finding the artifact. If not then I once more throw in my lot for Zu'ark to lead. "

Kai looks back and forth between the potential leaders for a moment, then tuned them out to approach the projection. The pathfinder kept a low voice to avoid interrupting the vote, turning toward the Farseer. "Do we have any clarity on the layout, how to get there.. were there any signals coming out of there? Also... how do we blow that target up? Assuming we can't rescue it of course. But just hypothetically.. standard charges, haywire grenades, hitting it with a large blunt object..?"

"Im afraid we have very little on the layout. It's emitting some kind of 'pulse' thats scrambling our scanners for an exact layout. It's also why we cant just blow it up with our weapons. And to destroy the target... Well." Caerys chuckled. "It's a disc Kai, all you have to do is step on it."

Kai nods with a bit of relief. "Great, I'll grab the extra spikey boots. Maybe some remote explosives to strap to whoever tries to carry it out, in case they don't make. Anything else of interest in this city? Souls that might still be rescued? To think, something so ancient, all the secrets it might hold... " The obvious interest and wistfulness is cut short by a bit of practicality "Could we even still fly any of the vehicles that might still be inside, if we have to cut and run before we make the hangar?"

Elysavar nodded slowly in his thoughts - artifact hunting, he grinned, oh how I love artifact hunting.

"Quite frankly I do not care who leads us on this mission - I would presume that none of us have exceptionally much experience in battling daemons, if they're in there." he patted his Fusion Gun and smiled under the mask, "Though like all things they too tend to explode when fired at long enough. I've seen and made it happen a few times."

"And is it possible that the layout of the fortress might have been changed by Warp intrusions? It might be a serious threat all things considered."

OOC: Currently at school.. Uncertain if I can update regularly in here :(

(Thank you! Also, En'rad Stormbearer sent me to tell you I'm his replacement. Any idea of what he means?)

(OOC: I'm actually travelling right now, so do feel free to NPC me. I'll come back once night falls here in Venice to see if you're all still alive. Also, Aida is not truly an outstanding warrior to use anything beyond the standard weapons. I'll pass on those mirror blades - for now. ;) )

Aida walked slowly from one side of the briefing dome to the other, her hands dancing alone to an inaudible rhythm as if they were still forming a poem stone. She was dressed in the signature bone-coloured armour of the Banshees, helmet hanging at her hip at the side of her trusty blade - Anam Di Tempesta.
Her skin was pale and her eyes a shade of golden; upon her right cheekbone she had a delicate tattoo of her Aspect. Her hair was a myriad blues as were the hair-like fibres of her helmet.

Finally, the Storm spoke. Her eyes directed to no one in particular, her voice wasn't high-pitched, rather smooth and soothing - quiet, but somehow powerful and it's vibrations reached across the dome.
"We will be dancing our song beyond this realm, brother. You can expect not only the physical structures changing, but the rules that Vaul and Isha dictate about physics may also stop applying at some point."

Aida's eyes danced then among those present - some interested in what she said, others not. It mattered naught.
"But we haven't been introduced yet, and even though I'm sure our Seers know well who I am I wouldn't like manners to be forgotten. I am Aida, Craftworld Anamnialoc has sent me - why? I'm not truly sure. I'm not even a devoted exarch to be such a great reinforcement, but the Fates know the way - I let them lead."

The Poet turned to the Seer giving the briefing.
"I fully commit myself to the mission, Seeing One. My blade is yours."

Aida turns to see the newcomer. There was something about his body language - something about the way his chest leaned almost unnoticeably in her direction, something about the way his voice was slightly more directed towards her - that made her think this stranger had something to do with her presence in such elite strike force.
"Greetings", she said. Her voice even, though she bowed a few angles to the front to show a bit of reverie.

(OOC: Also, I tweaked the character sheet a bit. Waiting for approval. And ONE MOOORE THING! I'm really looking forward to this! Feel free to NPC me, I won't be around for eight hours or so unless I find me another WiFi spot.)
