That's pretty cool. It effectively doubles their survival against basic weapons like the Shoota and Bolter but still leaves them vulnerable to higher Strength and Armor Penetration weapons like the Heavy Bolter the way a lower Toughness Eldar should. You can actually do pretty good novel reenactments with the TT. Just have whatever side is supposed to win only count rolls of 4, 5 and 6, re-rolling 1, 2 and 3, the losing side doing the opposite. The victory can be further skewed by having the winning side only count 5 and 6 or even just 6, while the losing side only counts 1 and 2(must have 2 as 1 is an automatic fail for everything).
Correct, change happend 2 Codex Editions ago, when they Introduced the Wraith knight, Crimson Hunter and new Wraithguard/Blades
I feel like if the eldar are going to have more speed and more accrute range. It would feel like your a ninja. Im just thinking that its going to become a ninja style faction where you have to sneak into enemy grounds. or being a sniper and firing from range. I Like IT!!! ill love to play out the eldar soon and to taest somthing diffrent from the old two factions SM and the CSM! I want to try my hang on the dire avengers or better yet the swooping hawks. Question: does the swooping hawks use range weapons or they are just like the jump assaults and the raptors?
Swooping Hawks use lasguns which are laser weapons and carry a grenade pack filled with plasma grenades (anti infantry grenades of a greater power then frags) and haywire grenades (which temporarily disable vechiles). As Exach weapons will be available they will likely have access to the Hawks Talon a more rapid fire version of the lasgun and power weapons. Their function is to be fast moving and fragile harass units which can take out small groups of infantry with grenade runs and disable their transport.
