  2. The thing is, if you dedicate a Tactical/Traitor Loadout towards Vehicle hunting, you are also not versatile. It's not like you can switch your melta during combat for a Bolter, just because you run into infantry instead of Tanks.
    So much for the adapt-aspect... You can still cap, that's true. But does this justify a 2nd Meltabomb?
    That's not me trying to put your point down, but honestly asking, as i have no clue how to balance it all out :(

    I feel there speed needs to be taken away and make them as fast as a marine/ork with equivalent loadout, I'm not really that bothered about them having two bombs they should be lethal to vehicles, also they are just as tough as a marine if I remember correctly so I don't know why they have a speed buff in the first place.

    But trying to defend a transport against a FD is almost a waste of time since they will be able to plant two bombs will you chase them around the rhino.

    Well how I always see it is you cant have a Dragon use a ASC and he cant cap, the Avenger cant take a melta gun or bomb, this means a dragon has to do all the AV work, Reaper launcher will suck and become a shitty las cannon so it feel like dragon or nothing, a Fire Dragon has to do lots of the work while other factions cappers can assist in with a simple bomb.

    If people are so salty Id rather a 4 to 5 second cooldown on the bombs apposed to killing the class I like and feel useful as opposed to making him a weaker chaos marine with a tenth of the options, I want more options on Eldar not less you know.

    Melee units and the tanks main gun makes my job very hard, I have to wait or use an ally as a decoy while I charge the tank. every melee hit you land is another second I cant plant, chaos normally have 2 GA and one Sorcerer defending when I hunt a rhino, while lSM has a dude in the gun at most and Orks hunt me down with Storm Boys

  7. Believe me, i would gladly give eldar all the Options they want... just that lorewise they have barly any, and GW will put a big Nono on anything the devs would invent to balance this out...

    So i am afraid we have to work what we have been given, and it has to be balanced nonetheless

    Well, the problem is that FD can be as though as a marine, but they're forced to pick the melta bundle (360 points) instead if they want to be competitive, because the enemy 2-shots (melta bomb + scratch) eldar vehicles by default.
    So, in theory they could be almost as though, but in practice they aren't.

    It's a game flaw that I hope becomes fixed. Decreasing the melta bomb damage and increasing the meltagun/ fusiongun damage vs vehicles could be a start.

    Eldar faction depends too much from their FD for vehicle control, as the entire faction only have 2 viable loadouts (FD or reaper with launcher) to destroy the vehicles.
    Meanwhile, the other factions have meltaguns/rokkits, lascannons/zzapguns, gravcannons/kannons, powerfists/klaws, and the multimeltas. Every LSM/ CSM/ Ork should have at least one of these weapons in their loadout and priorize vehicle control.

    Yep, if you have a point that is beign caped, look for and destroy the transport that is deploying the enemy first and kick them from the cap point later.

    As a FD I have the same speed as all of the other Eldar so I'm normally not worried with the GAs/ stormboys I normally hit it with one bomb then sprint off and come back to plant the other.

    When I play my FD at most there will be one person at any transport for any faction so I disagree with you when you are saying all but LSM don't defend their transport. As a FD it just too easy for me to sprint up to a vehicle dodge a few bullets and sprint away from melee I feel almost guaranteed that I can destroy most any transport that is protected to 1-3 players, I will die in the process most of the time but it will be worth it on most maps.

    I still believe that a small speed nerf is needed to make the FDs more vulnerable to people who defend their transport, it won't make them any less lethal to vehicles if they get up close, but it will give other factions a chance to deny a free rhino/trukk kill.

    OK but don't be surprised when Eldar take a majority of the map because most of you are to big of bitches to even fight us. Leaving your honorable brethren to fight a battle they are out numbered in.
