    - Etrigan and family
    Etrigen awoke early to greet the sun and say his prayers to the gods. Zamehir had gone, probably leaving in the night after they had all enjoyed each other's company. Kaija was asleep in her old room. Etrigen had kept it clean and just as she had left it, knowing someday she would return. Ajax was stirring, he could sense it.
    'I better work fast.' He thought as he prepared first meal. Fresh fruits and vegetables, crisp crackers and jam, with hot tea. After setting up their places he drank his tea and stretched in the open living quarters. It was then Etrigen noticed his spear, left by Kaija in a corner of the room. Seeing it again reminded him of his last time using it... That too involved fighting the Bloodtails. Kaija had said he was disrespecting the weapon by using it to beat head instead of impale flesh. He wasn't upset when she had taken it, actually he was glad she would have such a fine craft to keep her safe.
    'They'll be coming for me soon. I know I'm not guilty, but something tells me I won't be coming back. Maybe it's just paranoia, maybe the wanderer is calling to me, or something else...'
    Kaija and Ajax both awoke a few minutes later, coming down stairs to eat. Kaija was the first to speak.
    "Good morning father, hope they don't look too foolish when they find you innocent. Or maybe they'll banish you to save face. Don't worry, I hear life as an outcaste has it's advantages."
    "Don't say that sister. The Captain and other councilors know father. None of them wish him ill will. I just hope they'll reopen talks about exploring the Saurid habitats. Something is causing the saurid to act strangely and from what Kurin found, that something is in the forest."
    "The Doctor is skill in his work and unquestionably accurate. What ever was causing the Saurid the act up and what killed it will be uncovered. A body is a coded novel, and we know the many ways of reading it. Have faith... They're here." Etrigen finished as an armored knuckle rasped on his home's front door.
    Etrigen left without resistance. Argent was there, his helmet not giving away his expression but moved with a certain amount of smugness.
    "Hello again Captain. I trust you had a restful sleep? I assure you, bindings will not be necessary. I'm as interested to get to the bottom of this as you are... you're still going to bind my wrist anyways aren't you?"

    As they walked to the courtyard before the council chambers, Etrigen made not of the performance. 'Harlequins? They don't look like the one's we know, but that doesn't mean it's not them. What are they up to now? Is that supposed to be a Saurid fighting insects? Without a narrator it's hard to understand what they're doing... maybe we're supposed to judge for ourselves. I never cared for interpretive dance.'

    OOC: Sorry I have posted sooner. When out real late last night and haven't been feeling good. All better now! Let's get the ball rolling!

  3. Kurin was up early in the morning. She dressed, ate and went outside, stretching her arms and taking a walk trough the village. Her green eyes studying everything around the villiage. She stops by the "Show" set up by the harlequins but she don't find it too interesting. She watches it to the end anyway, just for traditional sake. Her clawed hands running trough her black and golden hair.

    Captain Argent and his two subordinates bound Etrigen's wrists, as a means to humiliate the accused law breaker. Though he stood accused, he was still innocent until proven guilty of the Saurid's death. Until such a time, Argent was going to make it his job that Etrigen doesn't walk away from this unscathed. Either by conviction or damage to his reputation, something to hurt him.
    "No I think you'll remained bound until I'm order too do otherwise. Just to make sure you or your family don't try anything foolish, you'll be wearing this."
    Argent produced a collar like shock device, used to subdue unruly prisoners. They would walk past the main entrance, the crowed would see Etrigen bound and armer guarded. This might give the impression that he was dangerous or already guilty of his crime. Individuals would know better, but a crowed far easier to fool.

    @Wincent
    One of the performers demonstrated the actual lethality of the dagger prop, cutting a newly bloomed tree bud from the near by World Singer shrine. The psychically cultivated flower glowed violet and fell into Kurin's hands. The crowed applauded the feet of acrobatics and skill. Said performer wore one of the insectoid masks, yet had an air of death about him.

    It was then the chime sounded for the council meeting to begin. The assembled crowed moved inside and took their places. Archwin'd and the other councilor's had taken their places along the raised platform side of the room. One place was empty, Councilor Praetor had decided not to attend. Etrigen stood at the foot of the council with Captain Argent next to him. When the wraithbone tree finish blooming for the new day, Archwin'd spoke;
    "Good first cycle and welcome everyone. Today, is a new day and with it comes new problems. Yesterday, this council voted to refrain from using lethal force against our suarid neighbors. Since then, a single saurid pack attacked and its Alpha was killed. Supposedly killed by gardener Etrigen Anthion. Dr. Kour, please report your findings to the assembly.

  6. Kurin glares at the guards. Her green eyes almost flaring as she really dislike how they treat Etrigen. One of the guards see her, shuddering a bit. He knows who she is and a bit what she can do. He pokes the guard captain
    "Sir... I think we have someone who don't approve of our methods"
    He nods towards Kurin which still give them a flaring glare. Her black and golden ponytail hangs behind her head and she straightens it up slightly, before turning forward again, her eyes still switching back to them again... the same angry glare in her eyes each time.

    "Death by natural cause. The specimen that was thought to be killed had a terrible case of a heart disease, probably complications from birth on, the adrenaline hormones during combat plus the increased blood pressure brought the damaged heart to it's maximum and burst open within the chest. Therefore our Eldar is innocent, since it could have happened in any other encounter equally, if not just from Father Time." He said relaxed, wiggling a bit to the right and left on his chair, just waiting for this entire farce and boring talk to be over. An expedition was to be attended!

    - Etrigen
    It was in that moment that Etrigen decided it would be HIS job from this point forward to break Captain Argent's legs. At least in seven places, one more for each shock he received. If he dared.
    'Whatever I'm thinking of doing to you, is but a tenth of what my daughter would do to you.' Etrigen thought as they walked past the crowd. Giving him a surprisingly good view of the spectacle. Harlequins were not an uncommon sight in the village. Some times they could be found far outside their walls or as close as the fields to entertain the gardeners at work.
    One jumped high, obviously skilled in both body and mind. 'No way they'd get their without a little mental boost, right?' Kurin catching the flower was for out shown by her burning gaze. Emerald daggers of fire and promises of death bore upon Etrigen and his company. One Guard went so far as to address Argent directly. Etrigen decided to say hello before the two met.
    "Good morning Kurin, how are you this morning? Kaija came home last night and Ajax tells me you are a witness to the events yesterday. Please assist me by only making a scene in the council chambers... Intentions have a way of going around." 'I'll deal with the good Captain my self, after I've been vindicated.'

    Inside the chambers, Etrigen listened to first the Chairman and then to the Doctor's rather short answer. Dr. Kour's mind seemed fare removed from Etrigen's situation. Kaija and Ajax stood to the side of the assembly, closest to their father. Zamehir was supposed to have met up with them, but they couldn't find him before it started.
    "May I address Dr. Kour?" *Waited for acknowledgment* "Doctor, I saw the Alpha struck by a projectile. What of it's condition before death? It exhibited signs of pain even before we engaged." Etrigen inquired.

    "I was to find out the cause of death, not give a medical history, right? I told you what the cause of death was. And I also just had said that the Heart condition may be assumed to be since birth. Perhaps there was an encounter before said engagement or other stress factors. It died from an exploded heart, if you want an entire medical history then I gladly go back to my lab and assess it for you, though it probably would take a couple of days, depending of how accurate you desire it to be." He crossed his arms, his voice somewhat annoyed, given that the Doctor's literal mission was to serve the cause of death, not assess every little wound of the creature.

  10. As Captain Argent was questioned by his subordinate, he turned to see Etrigen conversing with a female Seer. Not just any seer, Argent had seen her before with the Chairman. From their behavioral interaction over the years he could tell she and Archwin'd were close.
    'The last thing I need is her pulling the Chairman's ears to reprimand me later. Speaking of which.'
    They continued walking past the crowed, once inside the archway Argent removed Etrigen's restrains and lead him to position. The other two guards made for positions in the shadowy corners.
