I can understand that, you're an Eldar player, right? I dont keep track who plays what, esp if i cant make it out from their avatar. It was a catch 22: from the very first presentation they said 4 factions. But they have a small team compared to other companies. 4 factions who all fight unique etc. this creates a whole lot of extra work. The red line (you got that expression in english aswell? red line=common theme within something) I keep seeing is that they stand on two legs, from the very first anouncement to where we are at now. dreams vs reality: Dreams: they want 4 factions, vehicles, big campaigns, storymode, pve, etc. Reality: small team, you can see by the patches etc they work hard, but no real ground seems to be gained. I would have taken the axe by now and started chopping, focussing on a core game like only sm vs csm and really focus on that, putting in all efforts into those two and improve the gameplay in sucha way that it doesnt matter if its only two factions and an arena shooter. Most of us be us players or devs were dissapointed when lots of features turned out to be impossible, but okay, thats the reality of the situation and we gotta deal with it. But they seem to be stuck with what was promised in the beginning, they cant do away with factions or etc. and now it seems to me their relative small team is chronically overstretched.
Rage kiddies still bitching about "broken promises" that weren't even promises? Wow people today are ignorant as FUCK. Promise: a statement telling someone that you will definitely do something or that something will definitely happen in the future Idea: a set of actions that have been thought of as a way to do or achieve something There, proven wrong, Keep raging that things didn't go your way, your open world, your other bullshit whatever you whine about, but the fact is. you're just being entitled whiners, something you cannot prove wrong unless you start realizing that a lot of people actually like EC compared to the amount of people that dislike it, even this thread proves it. 2 of Zhull and Nimcock, and an occasional shit poster, against dozens of others, gg.
Why not? Too rude? Too bad, they dont deserve any form of respect. Can't even talk civil without shoving their opinion into our throats as if they're gods.
Situations are never decent with those 2 around Also I'm just grabbing my popcorn while seeing them rage... nothing out of the ordinary for this forum... right?
I guess I've fallen into the eldar camp because I argue on their behalf a lot, but I play all factions (proof- I have them all roughly the same level). Currently playing orks, but I'll switch to whatever faction is struggling the most. There's no disagreement and it's something I've said before, they planned too large and it took away from the bigger game. Nice to hear other people recognize that. Eldar/Orks definitely took away from core gameplay (asymmetrical balance, eesh), but it added a lot of meta elements in the interaction between the factions. I'm a very meta player, I like finding the weapon nuances and checking over maps for death densities. A space marine shooter (even with the bevy of 40k weapons) wouldn't have satisfied that gameplay element for me. So it's less about playing other factions, and more about playing faction metas that drew me into the game.
