From outside a cloaked figure appeared soon enough he open the door to the tavern after it seemed to be slammed in his face various leather goods he seemed to adorn his entire body hiding his figure up to his head even what layed on the tops of his head. on his back a large poll like object seem to be covered in odd cloths and various things seem to come out of his backpacks many of these looked like parts to games and behind his back pack seem to be a large orange symbol with a deer in it. as he entered he had a odd itch that only comes up around paladins and clerics and fiends. Not a good sign. he thought as he went past a yelling dark elf. he seem to approach a servant girl he soon took ask to her of where a party was setting up as it was his job to join it as thats where he had joined in on. Soon enough the women took his name and showed him where to go. he then turned to the dark elf women maybe she was one of the party and had not known where to go he approached her his cloak hiding most of his body as he said. "hello mam I think you may be apart of a Group I am join are you perhaps a adventurer?" he asked her as two glowing orange eyes pierced through the darkness of his hood.
"up stairs first door on the right it says private your employer is inside" as the gnome spoke he laughed and drank again "he hired the entire tavern and said i could drink so go see him" as the gnome spoke he fell of his stool and started snoring as one of the bar maids walked over "i will show you the way to the meeting room" with that she usherd them in to the room with the employer and two members already inside
Looking to the curious newcomer, Abraxa nodded with a smile. "Indeed I am. Dame Abraxa, servant to Lady Red Knight. Never charge without a plan." She crossed her arms, pleased with herself, as she sized up the man. Well, he did not radiate evil, it seemed. "I believe Lady Red Knight led us together indeed! If you are a fellow quester, I too am looking for the companions I was looking to meet. Surely, if we combine our efforts, and search vigourously, we may be able to locate them in this very establishment!" The Dark Elf chuckled at her own joke. Okay, this time, she was intentionally pompous.
The tiefling smiled and took a tankard of ale, leaving a silver piece on the counter for the barkeep. "I hope this ale is good my gnomish friend, for if it is---" He is interrupted by the arrival of the Drow, whom he eyes with interest. "My lady, your kind are not much seen on the surface, and certainly not in the service of a such a Lady. There must be a story behind it! I would love to hear it, and add it to my ever growing list. But not now! No not now at all! My apologies, my name is Kalju, I believe we are to be companions. This lovely gnome here was just telling me that we are to proceed to a room upstairs on the right labelled 'private', whereupon we shall find the rest of our soon-to-be comrades." He sweeps his hand theatrically in the direction of the door. "Shall we?"
"Aha! Tiefling, fellow child of darkness!", the Paladin exclaimed, following the ushering person alongside the Tiefling. "Of course, Dame Abraxas' tale is not told by many a minstrel, though I assure you, there is an edda to be told - and it shall expand, expand it shall! But you are right indeed, Kalju! The time for words is past, and the time for strife has not yet come! So, let us proceed towards this room, for the time for moving is upon us indeed!" By now, the Drow had changed to her indoor voice, which was still low-pitched but also lower in volume. One could only wonder what her voice would sound like when she wasn't absolutely full of herself. Despite the absolute hubris of her performance, she did move towards the direction Kalju pointed at, so her words weren't totally empty.
OOC: Whats really funny is that I play a Drow Paladin in my 5e Campaign. The Tiefling walked along next to her, occasionally strumming his lute along with the tempo of his speech. "And a Paladin to boot!? My my, I can already tell that this adventure will be quite the story! And I shall witness it firsthand! If my colleagues could see this now, they would be green with envy! Well except that wood-elf fellow, he was already quite a bit green if you catch my drift."
ooc trust me it is not going to be bad having a drow paladin "well thats nearly all of you so i will start explaining why i have summoned you all" as it spoke it did not let them introduce them selves as they walked into the room "i am Quisious a knight of summer servent of lord hern the summer king of the fey" as he spoke he removed his cloak "the fey have agreed together with the mortal kings and queens that the daemon knight as the mortals name him must be found" as he spoke he moved his hand over his orb and in front of where each member sat a bag apered inside were rations for 3 weeks and a sack of coins "half your pay is inside you will receive the rest if you survive"
the hooded figured followed but as he saw another tiefling he seemed to laugh from his cloak quiet joysily as he followed the others he took off his hood that revealed a set of two horns coming from his fore head his skin seemed to be the color orangeish rust color. "Good to see another fellow that is known for there heritage." he said as he went into the room with the other tiefling. he sat down as he listened and looked as to what was given them. "Well this will be interesting." he said while looking to the others in the room.
"Ah! It is always a pleasure to meet another of my kind! And of course it will be interesting! My god! Hunting down the Daemon Knight by order of the Summer King himself? And look there! A holy Dragonborn and a Dwarf! So many different cultures and beliefs! This will truly be interesting as you say!" The Tiefling is scribling down notes as he talks, taking in every detail and memorizing it before it even goes onto the paper.
"So a Dwarf, a Dragongirl, duo of Tieflings and a Drow enter a bar," Ragnar spat on the floor as he ushered the name of the last companion and took a sip from his mug, "Sounds like a bad joke to me." Seeing the coins, he threw a suspicious look at the employer. "That's a lot of gold right there. Or perhaps, not even enough for the thing you are asking."
