I don't remember ever seeing anything about Khorne not having female followers. It might be a misconception due to the fact they are regularly depicted fighting Slaaneshi daemonettes.

Personally I think Katie has chosen Tzeentch and the all of the others in the studio are trapped in her web of schemes.

I'm positive there was a female Khornate champion in the Grey Knights novel Hammer of Daemons. I don't have it at my house though
