  1. Jacen - Training Complex - Battle Cages
@Keidivh | Jacen lunged forward at Zuriel's words, swinging his spear above his head and bringing it down, the spear-head itself angled to strike Zuriel's skull. The tulwar in his other hand was also moving, aimed at Zuriel's left knee.
    "To first blood Cousin?"

    [OOC: Power Spear (5) [1] & Tulwar (3) [1] against Zuriel]

Vahn knew Zuriel had a plan he would hop in nothing more but what was it. So Vahn circled him like a cheetah circling its prey.

"Well, he is orthodox in the ways of Mars, but very unorthodox in the ways of his chapter. Where the Dornians are known for pain as punishment and to enforce discipline, he may have.... Tendencies of overly doing it. In one mission report he even engaged the foe in melee, letting the enemy stab him in the abdomen before blowing his brains out. Line brothers reported that he had a clear shot far before being in melee range. Astartes were concerned, but the chaplains deemed him pure, free of taint. He has served once for three years in the Deathwatch in a single term, having made allies across many chapters. A very positive individual, even if sometimes... Strange. He can dip into obsessive behavior if something starts to really interest him. You think Dorn is stubborn? Try that boy." The Watch Captain did not deliver smile nor laughter - being quite serious about that matter.

"As for you Tellon. Having made a final decision, or also desiring to ask some in-depth questions of your Apothecaries, perhaps even seeking mine or Alderson's advice?"

    OOC:
@Keidivh - waiting on your reaction vs. Jacen & Vahn ; FYI - I will for you lot this time only give you the stats of how each of you was hit respectively and you can write the aesthetics and all that out yourself (ie. where one was hit, and so on)

Alderson nodded, " Then Watch Captain, Sebastian and my Iron Hands brother are my choices. Iron Hand for his willingness to mess with Xeno and Sebastian for his positive influence. The Crimson fist is too immature yet and Ironeye is too anti Xeno to understand their equipment. He would be a fine addition just not as a techmarine position."

"But of course!" A vicious grin formed on his face as the young son of the Khan charged forward. With well practiced form, Zuriel attempted to spin out of the incoming blows while his glaive came to life, slashing out at multiple angles, searching for even the smallest opening in his defense.

He would then follow up this spin with a lunge towards Vahn, unwilling to give him the initiative.

OOC: glaive encarmine against Jacen and Vahn, sorry bout the delay!

Tellon shook his head, "No questions, Watch Captain. The files you gave me were more than adequate to make my choices."

"What would those choices then be, if I may ask?" The Captain relaxed in his throne, leaning back.

"I respect your decision and will send out the official invitations shortly. I would expect their arrival in two weeks, given our position.

OOC: Sorry for late reply - playing Dark Souls 3 in most of my free-time :X

@Uriel1339 | Tellon obliged the Watch Captains request, "The first I chose to send back is a Brother I mentored back at the fleet, Apothecary Petyr. I believe he has promise as an apothecary and can surely prove himself in the deathwatch in the future, but I feel that he must learn to prioritize his brothers lives before his own desire for clashing blades with the enemy. The second choice was......a bit disturbing despite its brief explanation. I have looked briefly into the history of the Sanguine Templars based on from what Cha-.....Viceroy Zuriel told me and what I was able to look at in the archives. I felt it unwise to have a marine who crossed the ethical boundaries of an already relaxed chapter when it comes to the research of gene-seed." Tellon finally gave a final answer on who the watch captain should expect to remain, "Those who will remain are: Apothecary Farmir, another marine I mentored from the Angels of Absolution, Apothecary Tamus of the Mortifactors, and Apothecary Tur'Tes shen from your chapter."
  9. Jacen - Training Complex - Battle Cages
@Keidivh | The Rampager laughed as he dropped beneath the glaive's blade, letting out a surprised hiss as the Sanguine Templar swiftly reversed his swing and cut a neat slice along his right arm. Springing back to his feet Jacen thrust his spear at Zuriel's legs, hoping to entangle his opponent and send him crashing down.

[OOC: Power Spear (5) [1] against Zuriel]

Alderson nodded once at the Watch Captain. He then turned around and went back to his own office. His office was a bit of a mess but Emperor help anybody who tried to straighten it up. On the walls were various schematics, and pinned just above his desk was the various profiles for servitors, magos, techmarines, and others who have to deal with him. This is where he gathers information and sorts through it carefully to know exactly what is needed. Through the wall you can hear the pulse of the forges breathing life into the station. On the opposite wall is a second door that leads to his private quarters that includes a room for research and development using xeno crafts. This stuff is to dangerous for just anyone to handle but they hadn't been identified enough to leave to the keepers of the vault.
