Lingren- The Apothecary had moved up to reinforce Shin in his stand when he call for request came in. He wasn't sure what was worse, the drill's incessant assault on the senses or the Sorcerer so easily speaking into his mind. The thoughts were pushed away as combat training took over, a swipe of his chainsword to the left bisected a Skitarii before another sweep right with it bore the teeth down into a skull, his bolt pistol rising over the shoulder of the jerking Tech-Guard to fire on another, pulping his chest with two bolt rounds to no effect until the third burst his head apart. Teras- Another Skitarii was torn down by a hail of shuriken fire, Teras began to push his way after Caerys before breaking off to support the pair of Space Wolves to the West as the Power Axe wielding Tech-Guard closed in. His fire was in precise burst to stagger their advance and slay any if he could, didn't need to fire right into their combat and risk making him look hostile or opportunistic, things were tense enough without friendly fire. OOC: Posting for Shady from Skype -Noctis- Noctis ducked allowing the incoming missiles to explode against the cover, or pass him by. He stood up again to support Shin once the danger had passed. ~ Caerys~ Caerys moved to Razauil and Saruhai erecting a ward just large enough to cover the three of them. "Kill them quickly! I do not desire to tire so soon." She ordered. The ward would protect them from incoming damage allowing them to fire freely, but they would need to act quickly. | Layairda | The Banshee rushed to Shin's aid as the Skitarii were distracted by Shin and suppressed by Noctis. Her power sword cutting through them with ease.

He teased the young Raven who already was in pure rage. ~~ Brain consumption ~~ The Blood Raven was overwhelmed with visions of pain and agony, how the very Sorcerer that spoke to him pressed his finger on the forehead of the man that had manned this suit and assumed complete control of him. Tarcain could feel how helpless the man felt in his last moments, being forced to fight and do whatever was ordered into his mind, no bit control of his body at all.
Ooc: have read a chapters due, dident see that, they are in general being discriped as little more than guardsmen, even cataprathi skitarii (skitarii in terminator like armor) can be taken down by practecly unarmed arstartes. Ic: Thain was indeed surprised by the sudden power of the skitarii, mostly they had been barely a threat, these where more than a simple skitarii, they must have been infused with some kind of dark powers. Now Thain had to draw power from the inner wolf, and so he did, his limps now moving faster than they could have had before, he listened to his sences, the skitarii was a challenge, they where a wothy challenge, but he had no lust to die today. He had put his pistol back in its lock, just before grapping one of the decending axes, he needed this. He ripped it out of the metal mans hand swinging it around, it had a much longer reach than icebane, though it wasent even close to its deadlyness.
Meros fell as his wings tore up. He hit the ground hard. He struggled to his knees and contined to fire his gun, despite the pain.
OOC: Seems like you don't remember how the hacked Skitarii took the Ultramarines and their defenses apart... Though I think it was because many of them were Praetorians which are described as being somewhat between Stormtroopers and Astartes. The danger is rather more their numbers than in 1-on-1 combat. Anywho, these are no normal skitarii anyway and I rather treat them widely between IG and Astartes anyway. To make them win a 1-on-1 against Astartes would be lore breaking, even with all their upgrades. Will proceed the combat once more posts came.
Razauil dropped down to his knee, the enemy sniper had found purchase. The shot impacted on his armor, and Reaper heavier armor provided him with some protection, but still, he was wounded. And probably would die if Caerys didn't show up. Leaving the rest of vehicles to Saruhai, Razauil took aim and started firing on the incoming Skitarii horde, killing them with ease, since he didn't have problem standing behind the Farseer's shield.
Ooc: i remember the skitarii guy that you follwed through some of the book, but i know they change in deadliness. I just guessed it was normal hacked skitarii, but now its cleared out back to fighting a hardass battle.

Aethyre replied, her Brightlances destroying the cockpit of the Thunderbolt Zu'ark had seen as she sped passed him. "Better turn!" She ordered as the Thunderbolts behind her closed in on Zu'ark. <Nithrak> Continuing to support Thain, Nithrak focuses on keeping the Skitarii from gunning the Wolf down. He didn't worry to much about the Mechanicum warriors engaged in melee as he figured Thain could handle it.
