Despite his caution and suspicion, Tempestus quickly saw here was no danger to be found. As he entered the room he was at the top of the room, a huge hologram projector a bit below him, probably a meter or two. It showed the outside of the crater they arrived. A quick look granted Tempestus to find a terminal next to himself. The pain throbbed the Chaplain's brain, as he struggled to remain on his feet. Blood Angel, noticing the sudden erratic movement, stepped and held the Chaplain, preventing him from falling. Devastator, beware of any attack, trained his gun on the door. "Argghhhh" the Chaplain growled as the psy attack continued. Stevanus, now aware that, whoever was attacking will not let go, he calmed himself, repeating different catechisms and litanies to remain focused. Slowly, but surely, and with the faith in the Emperor, he resisted the probing, but was aware that if he was to lose focus, whoever was attacking him would gain the upper hand. He must act quickly. "Brother Nathaniel. I am fine" he shrugged "But we must press on. The enemy is close now, I can feel it!". Weapons drawn and ready for anything, squad opened door and entered room...
Linkin continued to maintain his stone like stance, not moving but maintaining his aim at all times on one of the Skitarii in the room, usually the one closer to him. He would switch his aim only when one of them seem likely to spot him, but did not fire, his steel nerve holding for the moment the Skitarii takes notice of him. At that point, any enemy of his (if the xenos turn out to be such also) will receive a hail of kraken rounds coming their way.
The room released it's grip from the doors and started to work as an elevator downwards, spiraling around the tube in the center of the room, descending onto the desired level. It took at least 2 minutes until the elevator reached this far of the facility, 2 doors were connected to the room once it came to a full stop. North and South. It would be up to the Squad Leader where to go next. As they walked into the room, it was pitch black in the one moment and then light by light it got illuminated. The room's walls splattered with blood and oil as there were dozens of dead Skitarii all over the room. Just a Zoanthrope levitating there which slowly turned to the new group. It drilling deeper into the chaplain's mind, hungry for his soul it approaches him, not even caring for the other Astartes as they have a weak mind. The Astartes, spotting the approaching Zoanthrope noticed that some metal piece was stuck in it's big head right between the eyes. Besides that the room had several craters here and there and empty stasis capsules, at least for those that the party could see from here.
The Hologram beneath him provided a top-down view on the west-sector which has reached from the circular room where the Pskyer left the group earlier, up to the area where he is and down until some other sectors. Different colors indicated most likely the association. There were many grey ones, moving back and forth, a few black glowing dots, 2 at the circular room which started to disappear for some reason, 3 further in the south, along with a strong purple one, in the far north, presumably the room the Psyker was in, was also a black glowing dot. In the west though... There was a room with many different colored dots, probably dozens if not even a hundred or more.... The terminal changed to a mini-map of the area where he could zoom into the areas and a "Return to sector" Map. The Tau falls first on a weak attempt to look over the cover and shoot down a skitarii, the Ork using the moment of the fallen Tau to look over the guard and shoot them down himself, he killed both while screaming "WAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!" But finally died himself as the last Skitarii that entered from north put a precise bullet straight into the ork's head. The Skitarii then started to run scans in the room and turned to Linkin, taking an aim on him, just to be shot himself by him, straight into the Skitarii's head which disabled his functionality. As Linkin waited for more... nothing else came, it was a silent and a huge bloodbath.
Linkin casually reloaded his bolter, and stepped over the bodies, exiting the room through the south entrance. Witnessing the carnage outside, he stepped over even more bodies as he became more careful with his movement and his weapon as he made his way to the main generator room.
