OOC: TIME JUUUUUMMMMMpppppPPPPppppPPPPPppppPPPPpppppPPP Phase #5 - Extraction ~~ Hive Ship - Inquisitor Krauz - 1035 Local Time ~~ With double march and no enemy in the way the Deathwatch team made it immediately to the Thunderhawk, though any contact to Sirius or Valonox had failed, with their backpacks destroyed or them killed, also their beacons had failed. Their Gene-seed would be forever lost if they could be not found among the debris afterwards. The Pilot took off as the Hive ship started to fall apart, with it's life systems failing as if the twin hearts of an Astartes got ripped out it started to die and decay in the void. The other ships in the meanwhile got obliterated by the Imperial Navy and remnants of the Tau. The hammer of faith pulled away for an orbital strike. "Check his temperature and make treat the wounds! The First Aid kit is in that compartment over there!" The Pilot yelled at the Astartes as soon as everyone had taken their place and they travelled through the void, why in the hell must the Apothecary be disappeared in such moment of his need?! ~~ Tau Fleet - Sirius Jules - 1035 Local Time ~~ "Beacon removed and destroyed." The Tau Engineeer reported to the Apothecary who nodded slowly. "I do this to return my favor of saving my life, nothing else." He said ice-cold as he stood up, the Engineer nodded. "I will serve and adapt to the Greater Good until my services have been redeemed." Sirius added, turning to the Tau Commander. "Oh believe me, Sirius Jules of the Deathwatch, once you have learned about the true nature of the Greater Good, then you will not desire to return to the Imperium of Mankind. The Tau Empire and all of it's population will welcome you, and I hope you will become a capable Commander of our forces, the Gue'vesa Auxiliaries are in need of someone who thinks like them, additional to that I am sure we can learn alot of eachother." The Commander smiled soft, Sirius narrowed his eyes under his helmet but ignored it for now. The Codex Astartes stated that the Mission has the highest priority. And his mission was: Destruction of the Tau Empire. He clenched his fists as his thoughts returned from before. The moment he died, the Imperium of Mankind would not care as his Primarch had done so much greater things, perhaps he would not even look at the Sons of Guilliman... But Sirius would change that, he would give the Imperium of Mankind a reason to always remember him and the Sons of Guilliman, living in the shadow of the Ultramarines, pah! They did nothing to honour their Primarch as much as the Sons of Guilliman do! Not even an original of the Codex Astartes was trusted to the Sons of Guilliman. And only the names and position of the Ultramarines allows them to wear the Gauntlets of their Primarch, to contain his body and observe him regenerating, it would not stay like that.... Oh no... He would bring the Honour, Courage and Strength everyone valued in the Ultramarines to his own chapter! The Destruction of the Tau Empire... That is how he would be always remembered.
"Shut up and drive the damned Thunderhawk. His life force is all but spent" retorted Chaplain as he administered First aid on the Inquisitor's limp body. He used the bandages to stop the bleeding and injected him with stimulants he found inside of the kit. But any other medical procedure was beyond him. Of course, Stevanus wouldn't be the man he is today if he made peace and did nothing. "Tempestus brother, are you with us?" he turned to the Librarian, not knowing if he is again his old self. "I know I ask too much of you, but is there any way your powers could help our Inquisitor?" While he waited for an answer, he made the sign of Aquilla and whispered. "Emperor, you who is our father, blessed be your name, guard the spirit and body of my brother Krauz, do not let him slip away. This I beg of you...."
Noctis removed his helm and joined the Chaplain's voice with his. "Emperor, you who is our father, blessed be your name, guard the spirit and body of my brother Krauz, do not let him slip away. This I beg of you."
~~ Thunderhawk - Inquisitor Krauz - 1036 Local Time ~~ The Pilot growled but did not reply, what does that Chaplain know! This pilot was serving Krauz since his mentor was training him... He did not care about what Stevanus would say, he would not understand, neither did the pilot care that he would. After a short while they docked on the Hammer of Faith, giving order on the emergency medical bay, giving report that the Inquisitor had been wounded and needed immediate care. Krauz did not recover or made any improvement so far, but he was trembling from time to time as having a nightmare, his sweat cold, his body temperature below normal. This is also when the pilot and the Deathwatch heard of the orbital fire on Shins command which was to obliterate the Necron forces that survived the Tyranids, since then every contact had been lost. ~~ Planet Ruvorn - Fields of Heraldis - 1034 Local Time ~~ Shin was just taking distance in his zig-zag moves, the Lancer strike was though more devastating as anticipated, having not just obliterated the Necrons but also threw pieces of the ground out against the Ronin and his bike. Not sure if blessing or curse, he got lifted off his Bike and was crashed against him. His helmet was damaged, the Vox Communication offline as the blinking runes on his visor had shown, energy reserves low as the energy-backpack was crashed by the bike. Shin laid stomach-down in the dirt, the bike diagonal on his back, being in one piece, only minimal damaged and a bit dirt but other than that only keeping the Ronin down as his joints started to lock in, energy safety to contain power and allow the other systems such as diagnostics and air filtration to keep running. Though in the corner of his eye he could see a single Necron warrior march straight for him, it having apparently survived and wanted to take revenge upon the one who took the life of them and their leader.
Stevanus watched as the medical team hurriedly carried Inquisitor's body to the med-bay. "May the Emperor watch over you brother" he muttered as the comms officer notified the team about events on the planet. Chaplain remained seated and called for Pilot. "What are you looking at? Get this thing moving. I refuse to believe that brother Shin died. I lost three of my brothers today, and I don't plan on losing another" "Now fly this thing. If you disobey, I swear on the Emperor's name, I will kill you, even if it was my last thing to do"
OOC: I assume you overread, but your armor went in deadlock on the joints once the power went too far down... ^^
"Calm down chaplin" as tempestus/linkin spoke he looked at the pilot "would you arange a transport to shins postition"
Nathaniel joined the prayer as well. When the three astartes finished, the Blood Angel aproached the pilot, laying his massive hand on the human's shoulder. "What is your name, soldier?"
OOC: yeah I decided I want you in dead lock joints so edit pls though it was quite an epic post I dislike the destruction of the bike XD
