"So I see." Chaplain's voice remained the same. Then he turned to Noctis "By the way brother, you seem to know something about this artefact we are chasing, this mask thing. Care to illuminate the rest of us?" he smiled.
"Likely the mask Macha wore if the meaning is to be taken literally, back on Tartarus. The same time period of which Gabriel Angelos smashed the Maledictum with God-Splitter. Macha had warned against his actions..." With that Noctis stopped abruptly, fearing he may have said to much.
"So perhaps stealing the Journals was only a ruse to distract us from the real target", Stevanus deducted. "A mask worn by an Eldar farseer, who had connections with Blood Angels and ultimately, Chaos. This whole mission stinks of Eldar crap and their false prophesies, and I can bet we will cross our blades with the Archenemy before it is over. But for once, I agree with the Inquisitor. We need to catch these Eldar alive and question them"
"Not to forget that Inquisitor Mordecai Toth had been disappeared since and a Daemon Prince had been killed that day by Angelos also, his first one before the third Aurelian Crusade. But yeah the Mask of Macha is none of my interest, though I guess it would be good for the Blood Ravens to retrieve the artifact they contributed."
"The question Stevanus, here, is if one of the objects was a ruse, which is it the Eldar truly desired?"
"The Blood Ravens are not to be discussed!" The Inquisitor stated loud and clear, trying to keep the Deathwatch team focused as they seem to be unable to do so as Krauz learned last mission. "Your job to find out and this time I hope you do not blow everything up and without retrieving any hints or reports."
