Angalox also took a seat, for he simply wanted to get on with the mission than waste time on trivial matters, such as names. Once sat down, he looked at the Inquisitor and the holo-projection while waiting for the briefing to begin. His patience was being tested by the waiting, but he didn't have anything he could do to speed up the matter.

Isaiah also remained standing, his hooded gaze looking at the Holo-Desk. The Inquisitor nodded.

"Now that you know each other with name, let us proceed with the reason you have been called here. Deathwatch Keeper Toran had assessed each of your qualifications and formed your squad after approval of a Watch Captain. Therefor I hope he is right that you are ready to face one of mankinds most horrible and most recent enemies. Tyranids." The Inquisitor let the revelation sink in before moving on.

"We discovered them just thirty hours ago to even be here at all, we are not sure if they were capable of sneaking past our observation systems or if they were hiding underground like in some cases observed across the galaxy and just became now active. But what we are certain of is that we have three missions to accomplish while imperial reinforcements are on their way to aid us in purging them before they devour this entire jungle world and become a threat to the very chapters here or emperor-forbid even make their way to Cadia. Given the lack of spotting any sort of space travelling beasts, lets us assume that they collect bio-mass to grow such a craft."

The Inquisitors projection disappeared allow a projection of the planet with three highlighted areas. They were indicated with a "1", "2" and "3", each with the same priority 'Primaris'.

"There are three areas that resemble missions for you, you can do them in any order as you do, but you have to accomplish them. Luckily you can extract after each mission to be treated and replenish your ammunition or even change your wargear or squad leader. How you choose where to deploy first I leave to you."

    #1 Assault – Assassination:
Primary Objective: Destroy the Hive Tyrant
    Secondary Objective #1: Lictor
    Secondary Objective #2: Zoanthrope
Tertiary Objective: Locate crashed Valkyrie & Supplies

The Hive Tyrant, leader of the Tyranid forces, is currently in the procedure of growing a smaller hive, closer to the Watch Station Myruh Ground Complex. Destroy him to weaken the Tyranids leadership. Also a Lictor and Zoanthrope have been sighted nearby, each causing additional problems. Luckily these specimen are rare and seem to cost the enemy a lot of biomass, destroy them to weaken their force further. Last but not least, a day ago a Valkyrie with supposed supplies went down. Use it in attempt to find additional ammunition, first aid and perhaps even survivors to aid you complete your mission.

    Mission Giver: Inquisitor Zechs

    #2 Stealth – Recon:
Primary Objective #1: Locate source of power and its nature
Primary Objective #2: Depending on source of power and its nature
Secondary Objective #1: Recover Brother Armaleus remains
Tertiary Objective: Raise no alarm until source of power has been identified

An unknown power source has been located in the middle of the jungle. Locate it, identify it and then either recover or destroy it, depending on its origin. Furthermore, try not to alarm the Tyranids in this area, because they could be aware of the potential of the Power source and manipulate it some way. Also, a Space Marine called Armaleus, has a grave nearby, storing his remains in honor due to his exceptional research and aid for Watch Station Myruh, recover his remains if you can before the Tyranids add his mass into their ranks.

    Mission Giver: Magos Jax Hegen

    #3 Defence – Recovery :
Primary Objective #1: Protect the Magos Jax Hegen until data secured; extract him safely
Secondary Objective #1: Secure the Magos adepts
Secondary Objective #2: Secure experimental anti-tyranid weapons
Tertiary Objective: Activate Self-Destruction to ensure Tyranids death after escape

The Watch Station on the planet could be under Tyranid attack at any point. Defend it until the Magos can secure all research data, make sure he and his data survive. If time and situation allows you may secure his adepts and his experimental weapon as well. Once you are done, you may trigger the Self-Destruction of the Station to kill all Tyranids within it, rather than have them survive. Do not let the Xeno suffer to live.

    Mission Giver: Inquisitor Zechs
  4. "I say we kill the hive tyrant first, its demise will weaken all other tyranids on the planet and make the the other missions easier to complete since they will have lost a great deal of coherence, we can deside what mission we take next after we have slain the beast" henigst said in a very sure tone of voice, he saw no reason to not trying to kill the hive tyrant first.

Used a finger to tap his helm in thought before speaking, "Taking out there leader would put a blow in the grand scheme of things but knowing the Xeno-scum they would only create another within a few hours...I would suggest moving to take the Watch Station and secure the data and weapons whilst also killing the creatures in a large number i would assume, slowing there frontal assault enough for us to learn possible weak points, then we should take the Hive Tyrant...they are left slowed on the front and frantic from being leaderless in that time they will not care for most things allowing us to sneak past and recover Brother Armaleus' remains undetected" the Blood Angel assault marine spoke as he tilted his head slightly running over his plan in his head again and again making sure he didn't forget anything. After being sure he sat back and nodded towards the holo-graphic image of the inquisitor
  6. "This is not a fullblown hive fleet or even a splinterfleet, and a hive tyrant would cost them immense biomass from their supply. And a few hours is all we need to strike at the varius spots afterwards, i thought assault marines moved fast like skyclaws." Henigst said stoudly, a static defence mission would be alot more dangerus if the tyranids had the coherence brought by a hive tyrant.

Tyranids, hah! Foes that didn't even use realize the power of machines and metal! "Their leader beast is weak, a waste of time rather than a true mission. We have limited time until the watch station or the power source are compromised anyway. At the watch station there might be some information on poisons to kill the tyrant even quicker, the power source is important to the magos though..."

"An ideal plan of action would be to get the information from the watchhouse and then immediately kill the tyrant. The power source can the be dealt with at our leisure."

The Dark Angel looked across the table to the Space Wolf but did not speak. Perhaps offended by the comment of speed? Perhaps agreeing? Either way, he spoke no word.

Duran sat at his side of the table silent as he open his tome and then went to the pages about tyranids. damnable creatures used swarming tactics to take out there target and then devoured them for biomass. but this was common knowledge. he then looked to tactics on taking them out old quote by the ultra marines scout captain took his eye. That without there leader they would become frenzied and weaker and unorganized, but it would only last until they could regrow him. He slowly made his decision as he took into account everything. "I Think taking the facility of study Would be of the most importants, Recovering the magos and his techpriest could give us a valuable advantage that we might loose if we wait. After we recover the magos and his tech priests and the experimental weapon I suggest we go with our blood angel plan."

Can I use my battle sight to try and track the tyranids movements?
  10. Uriel1339 Uriel1339 Lord of Posts

OOC: May attempt to do so. Just keep in mind that it has two applications which you have to choose from prior to use.
