    After another round of critical hits and some impressive combat stim aided hits by Craven, it looks like we're set to finally wrap up mission two!

    If you don't have an open conversation about rewards with me and I haven't already talked to ya on Steam/Skype just gimme a smack in a PM here on the site. There are no artifice rewards this time around since we're only half way through the campaign.

    Also Post-Death boss sheet drop!

    Tartarus: 2 attacks, 135 hp, Infernal Flail, Daemonic Hide, Hellforge Armor
    Traits/Abilities:
    Warrior Supreme (2) - Tartarus changes his roll results to the following: 1 Crit Fail, 2-10 Auto-Hit for 2 damage, 11- 17 Normal damage,18-20 Critical.

    Punishing Strikes - Enemies hit by Tartarus halve any healing that turn.

    Gore Wind- Tartarus kicks up a whirlwind of gore inflicting a -3 to the next round of attack rolls for all parties. Used at start of fight and when ever he hits large increments of health loss.

    Breath of Embers - Tartarus makes a single attack against all targets that is unaffected by his Warrior Supreme trait. 4 CD

    Free post time for murdering daemons and fighting. If you wanna try and actually fight Angron and Nine Blood Thirsters though... well I'll tell ya right now you won't win :D

    And lo, did Craven that day vanquish Nine and One great servants of the Blood God, each with a swing of his mighty schlong. And verily, was there great rejoicing in the land.

    Alright folks its intermission time and what not. We'll probably resume with Mission Three by the weekend. Now is the time for feedback and what not. I realize we're all probably getting tired of daemons and Chaos but we're not much further from the ultimate end of this campaign. Whether it be through a total party wipe or by beating the next two missions which shouldn't be as long as the last one. As a minor spoiler they are essentially two extended boss fights of sorts but I'll say no more as I'm certain you can all figure out what, and more importantly who, is coming.

    Take this time to enjoy some interaction with the NPCs or each other, catch your breath from the fighting and perhaps do a bit of plotting on solutions to possible future issues.

    Bonus Rewards/Changes: Due to his behavior and effective use of the ability Galen has replaced Sweep with Rampage. Craven's Crozius Arcanum is now Sanctified due to scoring the killing hit on a greater daemon. Ternis chose a power spear as his heroic feat reward. Zed opted to exchange his heavy bolter for another weapon from the equivalent tier. (Heavy Flamer)

    Equipment: Herbal Stim Cigars- Special mixture made up by a Wolf Priest for Zed. When smoked grants him +3 to all combat actions for d4 turns. 3 per mission, cannot be restocked mid-mission.
    Trait: Tank - Zed takes 2 less wounds from all attacks ( to a minimum of 1) and draws more enemy attention thanks to his aggressive attitude.


    Name: Veteran Brother Galen (Age: 147)
    Chapter: Novamarines (Covered in Tatoos) HP: 20
    Class: Devastator
    Equipment: High-Quality Heavy Bolter (Sanctified), Bolt Pistol, Combat Knife, Power Armor(Reinforced) Bionics (Left Eye, Left Leg)
    Special Ability:
    Rampage - After the events of Fyrite Galen found his knack for tearing through multiple foes didn't just apply to using a heavy bolter but also combat knife. Whether due to natural skill or lingering corrupt rage left by the presence of Angron Galen now uses Rampage rather than Sweep. Whatever weapon he chooses to wield will be used to make an attack against all targets in reach. 8 Turn CD
    Trait:
    Magnificent Murder - Each time Galen finishes off an enemy a d3 is rolled. The result of this roll is how many additional attacks Galen may make next turn. (Note this also triggers if an enemy died due to someone else attacking but Galen had done the greater bulk of the damage that turn. )

    Equipment: Force Staff/Spear w/power field, Combi-Melta w/multi-shot capacity, Bolt Pistol, Combat Knife, MK7 Power Armor with Psychic Hood, Familiar (Serosch)
    Traits:
    Future Sight- Having honed his abilities for sorcery aided foresight over many long years Feridoun has pushed them to new limits in order to more effectively fight, and survive against, Angron and his forces. Feridoun gains one free re-roll to any attack or spell a turn and has an 85+ invuln save.
    Special Abilities:
    Cleansing Flame- Assailing his target with the flames of the warp Feridoun is able to purge a number of ailments from friend or foe depending on their origin. Feridoun may cast this on an enemy or ally in an attempt to cure them of any number of diseases, viruses, parasitic infections or even possession. Weaker statuses are automatically cleansed, stronger effects require a normal roll though one naturally easier to accomplish than if done without the ability. 4 CD.

    Equipment: Bolter (Scoped), Narthecium, Diagnostor Helm, Chain Sword
    Special Abilities:
    Surgical Overdrive - Already Ateros' new batch of charges are proving prone to some abuse in the face of their foes. While combat rarely leaves time for one to perform intensive surgeries the Raptor has focused his spare time and practice into getting the hard jobs done even under fire. A few secrets from veteran Apothecary Cervith of the Mentors certainly helped as well. In a pitched battle with Kharn the Betrayer Ateros unlocked his true potential in using this ability and has thusly improved his technique. Ateros may use this ability to instantly restore 7 hp to any of his brothers, or attempt to re-attach a recently severed limb before it becomes a worthless endeavor, this action also causes D5 hp to be restored. 8 CD

    Traits:
    Swift as it Flows: After the taxing demands of keeping his team alive through the mess that was Fyrite Ateros has learned how to make a few shortcuts to his healing capabilities. Ateros may opt to perform two healing actions in a turn that restore D3 hp in place of performing the usual single target d5 restoration.

    History: World of Ulmor was the place where Ateros encountered Tyranids for the first time. The first battle, however, ended in a disaster - this particular group of Tyranids was heavily mutated, and thus none of the tactics presented to Ateros' squad in a briefing worked against them. After most of the squad was wiped out, Apothecary became obsessed with figuring out a way to fight this enemy and avenging his lost battle brothers. Dissecting and studying different specimen, he was able to devise new tactics that were instrumental in the eventual defeat of the Tyranids. After that, Ateros always went out of his way to get first-hand information on any Xenos he would encounter, having a distrust of any second-hand source of information after Ulmor. His dedication to studying and eliminating Xenos eventually led to Ateros being recruited into Deathwatch.

    Class: Techmarine HP: 20
    Chapter: Carcharodons
    Starting gear: Power Spear (Heroic Reward), Servo-Arm with Plasma Cutter + Chain Bayonet, Meltagun, Power Armor (Reinforced, Jump Jets)
    Special Equipment: Jump Jets- Installed in the Techmarine's leg plates are now a pair of small thrusters that grant bonuses to damage when used while charging, boosts initiative, grants minor lift off capability significantly weaker than a proper jump packs and provide appropriate benefits where applicable.

    History: When the Carchardons in their hunt for the enemies of mankind beyond the borders of the Imperium, they ended up arriving at one of the worlds of the Tau. During the inevitable purging of that now nameless world, Ternis distinguished himself for being given to the Deathwatch by managing to successfully bluff his way into a Tau storage area for their battlesuits, then causing a fair bit of havoc with some well placed explosives. In the confusion that followed the cunning Carchardon had made his escape.

    Class: Chaplain
    Equipment: Chainsword, Hand Flamer, Crozius (Sanctified), Rosarius, Mark V Power Armor (Reinforced)
    History/Description: His history remains a secret. Many have heard of the transgressions of his Chapter and yet judge him alone based on their actions. Very vocal and forceful, he puts the will of the Emperor second to none. Many grow tired of him, though those who share time in battle with him know that he will always be at their side when the battle rages.

    Name: Daemar Cynos
    Chapter: Imperial Fists HP: 22
    Class: Devastator
    Equipment: Heavy Bolter, Power Armor, Bolt Pistol, Combat Knife
    Traits:
    Imperial Will - Daemar gains +2 hp and is less likely to suffer from crippling effects due to damage and gains significant resistance to items and abilities that affect his mind.

    History: Daemar is an Imperial Fist, hailing from Holy Terra itself, although he hasn’t set foot upon the planet since. Daemar showed great prowess as a devastator, and eventually became one in the Imperial Fists 2nd Company. He has served as far back as the Tyros Gulf Campaign. His most recent action was during the blood 13th Black Crusade. He was deployed on Cadia, holding off an endless sea of daemons and cultists that accosted the mighty walls. True to his heritage he and his Company held back the dark tide. Bolter rounds and Melta slag cut down the foes as they charged. By battles end Daemar found himself alone, his entire squad cut down by the Archenemy. This, and the fact that a good portion of Cadia was occupied was considered an immense failure on his own part, to both the Emperor and his Chapter. He spent a full forty minutes in the pain-glove, just enough to leave a lasting dull pain throbbing through his body to remind him of his failure.
