    Given the reasons the devs stated I can see why the GAs can't cap while MoN can, it makes sense.

    Traitor + Mark of Nurgle is the actual class.

    While Ground Assault is just that, an Assault class that has foregone the jetpack in favor of the shield.

    Now giving some melee options to Tacticals, at least higher end loadouts to squad sergeants, etc. would be cool although I am not sure how viable it would be without some kind of mitigation, defense, etc. but they can tweak all that with the loadouts like you mentioned...soooooo many cool things they can do.

    I am really looking forward to seeing how they handle the other Marks of X God as a loadout item. I can already see the insanity that would be a bolter traitor with Mark of Nurgle or some kind of Melee glass cannon traitor with Mark of Khorne if they heal on kill and have increased speed or something but not any special mitigation. Pure curiosity on how Slaanesh and Tzeentch can be implemented and make sense for those Gods in this game.

    As for Orks...shits gonna get straight weird and I can't wait #OrkMasterRace lol.

  3. Feel like the video just showed i think two particular players who are just bad at melee? I think most of the kills were vs that Korealis guy who was repeatedly making the same mistakes etc.

    Since MoN is right now a traitor marine I can't wait to see what it's like on a ground assault.

  8. Gotta love it to finally have the stats :D While you always have to be carefull with stats and interpret them right, I think the combined evidence of the Stats and the Devs (and Videos) are overwhelming :D

    MoN being able to cap is a huuuuge advantage.
    When I am playing SM, I so often see points not at all contest by Chaos, with 3+ SM around them. But we can't cap them because we only have Raptors or Shields.
    No one there to stop us, we are running around looking for enemys to kill and no one can just cap the point. :D

    So in that way, I understand why people might still think the Shielbro is OP.
    It's not winning games like the Mon, but it's presenting itself in situation that stand out in the human mind.

  10. Sure, I can do that, and I would if I cared about winning :D (And if the bad serverconnection didn't prevent me from hitting anything ranged).

    But obviously for a game designer the Solution is not to tell every single person what to do.
    A gamedesigner has to incentivize the large population. Like for example how Chaos is incentivized to take more melee because they can cap with it.

    I don't even want anything to be changed, I just want to point out how much of a advantage the Mons ability to cap is. The reality is, just because SM need more cappers, not more people will play Tacticals.

    We have different groups of Players:
    Some care about winning, if only the Tactical can cap, and there aren't enough Tacticals on the Field they will take a Tactical.
    Some do not care about that. They just want to play a meleecharacter if he can cap or not.
    Some people just want to play a Sniper even if the Team would need Antitank.

    So you can on one hand incentivize players to use the capping classes. You can use the Cappingclasses to incentivize more Chaos to be melee.
    But on the other hand at some point you have to say:
    Maybe we have to give a melee option that can cap.^^
    Maybe we have to give that Sniper options to support his Team ;P

    (Sorry for the uncoherent toughts and repeating myself:D)
