Hello D&D players! I'm starting a D&D 3.5 campaign and I don't know what to play as. The party is evil. The party so far is as follows:
    2 barbarians
    1 cleric
    1 aspiring arcane archer
1 fighter (probably gonna go weapon master)
1 plague doctor (homebrew class that is being allowed)
    and me
So what do you think I should go as? I'm thinking either rogue (going assassin) or straight up wizard and serving as artillery.

Hey, with such a big party and yet no true rogue or wizard (dont know about the plague doctor though) you could actually be a !USEFUL! evil bard!
Consider it, this may be a "once in a lifetime" chance to play a bard which is needed as spellcaster and for trickery as breaking locks or flatter perople. :)

Whatever your preferences are you should add up to the weak spot of the party, so i would recommend a rogue or (arcane) spellcaster since you guys got some heavy fighters and a cleric so far.
  3. I second Ezrael, if only because an Evil Bard sounds like great fun. Otherwise, a Barbarian... you never have too many Barbarians...

I actually played a evil bard once, I asked my DM if I could be a comedic bard so I would tell jokes instead of do songs to give out buffs or debuffs, all I did each session was make fun of the enemy.
