Samuel's clenched hands now loosened now that there was no obvious sign of retaliation, he calmed down slightly the furious expression fading from Heinrich's eyes, he seemed to revert to a more reasonable less violent state. 'That better be the case Glowstone because your conduct yesterday left her in quite the state, my entire purpose coming here was to defend her honor and that is what I have done, now if the message is clear then know you need to make amends for right now I believe lady Hildegard Heinrich may be quite uncooperative with your ambitions. From her perspective she sees the Wolves as barbarians living in the mountains and has drawn deep offense at your suggestion I believe my actions today may have spared you the wrath of a potentially much worse fate if this situation was left in the hands of someone else.'
<Lucien Glowstone> Lucien sighed somewhat disappointed. "To raise security around her is what they want. Guards that protect your daughter are guards that don't protect the walls, the armory, the army." He tilted his head as he continued to reply to her other wise words. "The glowstones hold no military power. Neither do the Garadillo. In fact I don't care about the Garadillo. It's my mothers blood, not my primary one. I may be of her womb, but I am through and through Glowstone seed. Yet, I would like that picture of me being so lovely and what not to the people of Garadillo. So what I desire of the White Ravens and the Lions is that I am the one to lead the army which is to liberate the realm of Garadillo. They shall praise me as hero, so that I can claim despite my home residing in the east, that House Glowstone is merging with Garadillo. We get out of the swamp and a new land to rule. The Garadillos loyalty is secured for Lionheart and Lionheart can do with the swamplands whatever they desire." Lucien placed his hand on his cheek as he tilted his head further, appearing to be bored. No wonder. He had thought through this entire scenario already beforehand. "I am young and am anything but soldier material. But I compensate with strategy, diplomacy and politics. Quite a few things I thank to the education of Marshal." The boy drifted off from the topic, be it lack of attention span or attempt to de-rail the Kharonis woman who was already completely at unease as her pacing around presented. Or was the mans name a hint for the woman to pick up? Who knew. She was dealing with a Glowstone-Garadillo here.
Straightening up he adjusted his Ambassador's Medallion, "Well if you wish to restore her honor and faith it would be foolish to have me find her a 'proper' suitor. She complained how her own family cared little for her, so little to not bother to find her a husband." He looked Samuel in the eyes, deep down he would know Marshal was correct. "But that is my thought on the matter. If you still wish it I will find someone to provide for her in only the best way possible." He turned to walk away before Samuel could answer. "And good luck in the tournament! Show them who the true heir should be!" Before leaving the hallway he called back over his shoulder, "No hard feelings, I honestly expected worse!" And with that he was gone.
- Kateri Pietas "It's hard to watch those most important to us suffer. Humanity can weather almost all adversity... Thank you for sharing. I am anxious to meet Lady Lionheart." Kateri fallowed Stahlpanzer through the Lions Den. Her expression was pensive, thoughts of the coming journey to the plagued lands of wolves. Arriving at the young lord Richard's quarters, Kateri waited for the Lieutenant to announcer their arrival. A guest never enters a room without permission. "Salutations."
Nodding to Glowstone,Antonio answered:"Of course Lord Marshal.I`ll send you any communique in case i have some last minute changes but rest assured, everything should go well while we are in Lionhearth lands. Young Scholar sank deep into his thoughts after waving off the Ambassador. He heard rumors, ominous rumors that the plague showed signs of necrosis upon its victims.Various theories and calculations swam in his mind, broken apart only by the door opening. It was Lord Heinrich, the one that was unexpected and frankly, quite late! Before Antonio could have speak up,the two gentlemen walked out, seemingly having their own matters to attend to.Antonio suppressed his choler, seeing Samuel`s lack of responsibility.Showing up at the meeting for a cause he swore to defend, only to get late and appeared all around, entirely disinterested at it. Antonio stood up and excused to Miss Lin,leaving half finished breakfast. It seemed there was a fuss in the corridor,so the young de Vergara quieted down, overhearing things from the corner. Hmm...a dispute between Heinrichs and Glowstones? What is this about?-mused the handsome foreigner as he strained to hear the conversation.Hearing the footsteps walking off,Antonio came from his cover and walked down the corridor, meeting Samuel. His hands still hidden in massive sleeves of his robe,Antonio greeted young Lord, the rings on his necklace, chiming slightly as he did so. "Lord Heinrich...i was expecting you on this morning`s meeting.Am i to presume that you didnt receive my invitation?"
"You are frustrating. I have no power to agree to anything of this, and with all that information you seem to possess, I should hand you over to our guards." Pyth crossed her arms and shut her eyes. "For all our sake, I will tentavely say that I agree to your trade. But it should be you who presents that plan to my grandfather, for someone like me will surely forget all the necessary details. Now leave me be, unless you seek to poison me more with words and plans and being a serpent in the grass." She made a dismissive gesture, sat on a chair and held her head. Pyth hated dealing with this part of her family, especially at a time where there was so much to think of.
<Lucien Glowstone> "Hand me over to the guards and do what? Have me arrested for some ridiculous claims from a woman who fears a fourteen year old philosophizer, who also happens to be the heir of a loyal Vassal under your husbands reign? If you are too foolish or blinded by your pride to see that I actually attempt to save our lands, then I am not even certain if I should propose to your dear grandfather. But I shall conduct this conversation anew with whomever comes to fight for your daughters heart." The young man rose and shook his head. Having come with a gift and treated like a traitor, certainly not what he would have expected. Just as he left a knock came on the door. And instead of answering he simply opened it. Seeing a Lieutenant he nodded with his head. "All yours." And so he went away... <Lieutenant Stahlpanzer - earlier> He checked on the little Richard who also was taken care off by the personal nanny who took care of all children and even Lady Lionheart. He stepped out again to report to the saint before she entered the room. "The Lady is conducting service at the moment. I shall see after her. You may start your prayers with Helga, the woman who cares, in absence of family, of the little Lion. Apologies for having to look after everyone, but as you can see the tournament preparations are quite... Stressful." Once again the Stahlpanzer bows deeply before marching off... <Lieutenant Stahlpanzer - now> "Have a pleasant day, milord." He said after the lordling who walked off. Through the door he looked over to Lady Lionheart. "Saint Kateri Pietas awaits you in Lord Richards room, upon request of Lord Lionheart he receives blessing, though she also would like to make his mothers acquaintance." He reported dutiful as always.
Having finished with his business Samuel was about to set off into the corridor once again to search for the tournament representatives, he brushed himself down with one hand to clean up after the violent contact with the Lord Marshal Glowstone. Almost taken by surprise when the door to the delegation breakfast room opened yet again revealing the scholar who unbeknownst to Samuel had gotten up seemingly to investigate what was going on outside. Still brushing himself off facing at a sideways angle to the young handsome scholar Samuel responded to the man's question. 'My apologies, yesterday night has been a busy and I had more than a little to worry about since my pledge to the delegation in such a short space of time. I am afraid I have not received an invitation of which I am aware of although owing the amount of time I have spent already looking for Marshal Glowstone that might not be so surprising.'
"Very good then!"beamed Antonio, his smile able to win all to his side,or so it seemed."For a moment i thought you were withheld from the delegation by Lord Lionheart himself.I am glad you are coming with us.It seems the plague is only getting worse."spoke young man as he came out of the doorway and put his right hand on Samuel`s left shoulder and grabbing his right arm with his left. "I am...really...glad you are coming with us.Heard about your martial prowess..."Antonio trailed of,as if his unfinished sentence should elaborate on itself.Releasing his hand and walking down the corridor,Antonio spoke without turning to the young Knight: "Prepare yourself. We are departing on the morrow of the second day. Also send me a list of everything you want to bring with you."
- Katire Pietas Walking in, Saint Katire greeted Helga the nanny. They shared pleasant conversation, and discussed Richard. Katire held the young boy, who cried at first for being held by unfamiliar hands. Not dismayed my the spirited babe, Kateri continued to smile and talk sweetly till he calmed down. Before long he returned her smile. OOC: What does they boy look like? Hair, eyes, etc... Work better visually.
