Orks are mostly meant for free-to-play players to create the masses etc.... but i like orks - i like to play one on a somewhat competitive level. Will there (and if not can there) be an option for paying players to have an ork character/class which is on a similar power level as a space marine...of course, still with the ork flavor - and before the lore boys start crying... it could be something like an ork boss / nob / mega nob / big mek class for paying players?
F2P boys will not be inherently weaker than a Space Marine. Their main drawback is a very limited loadout. In other words, even if you're just a boy, you could kill an SM (or CSM or Eldar) character. In other words, you can play on a competetive level regardless of your Ork class. Of course, being in a strike force would be a necessity for the sake of proper communication.
You can buy orks as I have and play as then as well you'll have a lot more out den some GIT who just hopped on but they won't be too gimped they will just be limited. So orks will be playable and they will be competitive they won't just be for freetowaaagh there is more than just that there is pay to play so yeah JOIN DA WAAAGH !
