You have chosen B. You inspect the broken container, the seal seems to have been cracked open in a hurry before you arrived. You carefully rest your autogun on the floor and take the lid off the box. Inside you find layers of parchment and paper covered in useless information about the farm's tithes to the planetary government, statistics about the farm's output and financial situation along with the deeds. There were a few picts showing a young man in his prime alongside what one would assume to of been his family... But finally inside you catch sight of a handle juttering out of more letterwork... You grasp the handle and pull it out rewarding you with a new ripper pistol. You briefly glance around the room once more, there is nothing more that interests you and you're still none the wiser with what's going on. Choose. A: Investigate the Basement B: Investigate the truck
You have Chosen A. You slip your new-found ripper pistol into one of your pockets on your great coat and you slowly approach the door leading to the basement. Cautiously pushing it further open, you begin to walk down the rotted wooden steps to whatever lurks below in the darkness... Once at the bottom at the stairs you start feeling the damp and slimy wall until you find a light switch, you flip a switch but nothing happens. You decide to continue in the dark. You step down onto the hard floor and register that beneath your boots the floor is sticky and causing a squelching sound. At the opposite side of the room there lays a doorway into the brickwork, A shelter you think to yourself, the most likely place a person would go if they were worried about some disaster. You squeak towards the doorway and notice something that is extremely not right. There, laying at the wall opposite the doorway was the door, buckled and smashed against the far wall. You instinctively go to your trusty autogun and brace it against your hip. You try to approach the room silently along the wall but whatever has been spilt on the floor is disallowing you that, deciding that you cannot sneak up on anyone silently you opt for speed and bound around the corner swinging your weapon to bear, hoping to confront anyone lurking in there with your ironsights... Intermission.
Kind of it, it was on hiatus because of the story for Arkhona competition, however since I've had no lucking in creating a story I could carry on if it warrants enough interest.
