Don't ever change, you datasmith you.

I have two new characters posted in the Character Thread here:

and I am sure there will soon be a Scorpion to join them! :D

EDIT: If I could send cog-cookies, I would. Perhaps I can find a way.

By the way... While I usually hate a group which is in split-decision especially on the 'higher ups' (quotation marks since it's all in our heads and there is no chain of command in reality), in this case I ... Welcome it.

The tension between Morvan and Yareli could be as much personal difference as it could be their struggle for power - even though both would deny they strive for such thing. Yet to see it... Flame up like that and especially Morvan hitting her in a way she only felt once before (which is why she had to get out of the bridge) is rather interesting as well as painful.

But it will be interesting to see where it's heading and if it may not cause one or the other to leave the group at some point because of such disagreements. On the other hand, I think it's just that the group gets more comfortable with one another and start showing their 'true' faces, since Yareli at the very least was being very diplomatic during the first mission due to having joined in the middle of an operation she had no idea of, while this time around they are all on the same level of knowledge. And combined with her awe of Saarania and the power she had to basically 'bend' a Craftworld, well... Let's just say the seed of power needs nurturing now, and of course it results going head-to-head with the so-far leader, which Morvan was for the group :X

.... I see a right old In-character row developing! (It's all good character stuff.)

I shall be away from the ether tonight as I have a tabletop game. Shall try to catch up tonight or if not, tomorrow!

If we don't burn the galaxy by then with the Sword of Eldanesh :3

You have fun, and yes in-character development as a prime example!

Someone started developing thicker skin? :O

As I said...conflict is a welcoming thought to me...so I enjoy this most dearly, even if Morvan might not.

As for conflict as a way for group development...well...remember when Yareli burst out on Iktomi and then on Avrielle when she tried to calm the situation? It was somewhere right after we fought that daemonic horde during our 'soulstone collecting mission', when Yareli stepped out her game and faced that daemonnete.

Well that conflict really put the emotions out there resulting in greater depth of character and a deeper relationship between Yareli and Avrielle.

    Good stuff!

As you said...I look forward to what this may result in!

Good point, maybe I will incorporate this long-term. Facing your inner daemon - literally. And it was out of the need to sacrifice, but it was her own and not an order, knowing ... Hoping it was her fate to be in the right moment at the right place. And it turned out well. But she doesn't like the idea of Morvan going all crusade-like and be like "Everyone has to die if it means we retrieve the sword!", because that is how he did sound. And she saw that happen in the Betalis Campaign roughly 100 years ago. So many friends, relatives and acquaintances lost... It was very sad and so Morvan triggered quite a chain of bad memories, especially since it was one of the few events she thought to had lost both Auntie-Banshee and Daddy-Seer.

But yeah, I hope someone goes and comforts the poor Diplomat (earlier or later), or else the spite against Mr. Jain may grow into hatred, lol. And it's hard for her, since you know she tries to be all hard and tough now that she is going to marry Iktomi - showing weakness is forbidden! FORBIDDEN!

The future resolutions shall show whether we play out a tragedy, a thriller or a comedy...

Well it's prompting someone to perhaps try to approach her rather than just 'give her space' we both know that it's all about char interactions and I don't want people to think to leave her alone, and/or to give people also the opportunity to spot her on the way in, and/or out.

The last part was more ... Dramatic than anything else, why you think there was a 'lol'? :p
