As a player who usually rolls as a space marine, I don't really think any faction needs a nerf (maybe a slight nerf on auto cannon accuracy). Even fighting in losing games can be enjoyable.

I'm not so sure focusing on stomping the faction that's got (and is getting) the most new players and gloating about it is going to do the playerbase of EC any favours.
The only thing that's likely to convince people about is to refund & leave.
