Aside from the massive video problems and bugs, that ending is the WORST ending to any video game I have ever seen bar none. Very sorry I bought it.
Do they use time travel to undo the events that lead up to the game, thereby writing the game itself out of the CoD timeline?
Ghosts is set in an alternate timeline that follows the nuclear destruction of the Middle East. The oil-producing nations of South America form the Federation in response to the ensuing global economic crisis and quickly grow into a global superpower, swiftly invading and conquering Central America and the Caribbean.(I don't understand how it is possible but whatever.) The Federation hijack the controlling space station(ODIN)and use it to destroy several cities.Some astronauts sacrifice their lives in order to stop ODIN.There are also other ODIN space stations but they don't activate. 2033, US is fighting the Fed on USs OWN TERF.That's something you don't see everyday. Logan(That's you) and some other faggot join The Ghosts and help the US millitary to drive off the Federation out of the USA and end the war...NOPE.The ending ends very differently. TL;DR:Bad shit happens, bad guys come, lots of gun fights.The game ends in a cliffhanger.Ghosts 2 has also been officially confirmed. The game is 40gbs of pure crap.
