I know you 'ard 'eaded gitz may not get what I'm sayin', so I'll givez youz an example: Strength in numbahs Dah more Orks dere be in an area, dah strongah we becomes. Say dere is... umm... four hands forth of boyz in an area. Since dere so many of us, den dere must be more bulletz, right! So our guns shoot fastah when more boyz are aroun'! Or maybez we go fastah, don' mattah what, jus' somtin' to make us bettah, yea? Make us differn' den all dem other spiky gitz, or dem fluffy long eared fellaz wit' dah pretty teef.
I was reading Gretchin~lover's post yesterday and the Devs really responded to a WAAGH mechanic like you're suggesting. I also think malfunctions would be an awesome addition for MekBoys and WeirdBoys.
Dakkadakka: you have a chance that there is no ammo consumed for the shot (shooting specialists have a 25% chance others 15%, the chance for shooting specialists is doubled during waaaagh mode)
WAAAAAAAGH emote...so we can fill the air with the sound of the waagh. Weirdboys are powered by the amount of orks that surround them. Insane recoil from blastas and shootas. Lootin: Ability to add requisition to the ork pool when destroying enemy vehicles, maybe in exchange for less req from objectives.
Here, take all my YES. Orks really need to get some WAAAGH! mechanism, and not only for weirdboyz (but it'd be very important to them as well, of course). As for your last point, it'd be pretty cool if orks' objectives revolved around looting stuff, instead of capturing stratological locations no propa ork would bother about.
GET OUT OF DA WAY O ME SHOOTA YA GITS! Orks take no additional penalty for friendly fire. Wot did needs is more gubbins... Mekboys can add temporary upgrades to vehicles already in game...maybe for a tradeoff in reliability.

I think something like no respawn timer would be great for orks, be be really be able to zerg and overwhelm our foes even when there isn't many players.
