http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/954/feature/8167/Design-and-Passion.html Another article from MMORPG.com but sadly nothing new.
This is kind of new ( to me at least) "We got to look at several environments while at the studio. They included a snowscape (Space Wolves… cough), a burned out forest, and a rocky moon-like terrain. Games Workshop has given them permission to add the game's premiere planet to the actual 40K canon" Thanks for the link.
I think I'm more hyped about Eternal Crusade than I was about losing my virginity as a sexually frustrated 13-year old.
I know that the developers are fans of the game, but it just warms my heart to hear them play and read about 40k like the rest of us. I also like that they communicate with us at an equal (or at least much more equal) level too as far too often the developers remove themselves from the community, descending for only the most dire of topics like demi-Gods. I have faith that whilst they may not make the 40k game that I want (evidence shows that they definitely are at the moment!), they'll make a true 40k game.
I totally feel you bro, to know that the game is being developed by fans just like us gives you a lot of faith in the game.
This is why I think this game will be good. Over all on paper it sounds like a hugely optimistic idea from a somewhat unknown company, most of the time that's not a good thing. But if anyone can pull it off, and end up making this game that so many people have wanted for so long (a 40k mmo) I think its these guys that can.
