  5. Player name: GobMaw HellSmasha

    Character name: DinDink

    Monicker: Fritzz
    Race: Jawa

Type(Class): Bounty Hunter (Explosives and Tech)

Equipment: Blaster Pistol, Jawa Stun Gun, Thermal detonators, explosive charges, trip mines, various explosives, Light Armor under Jawa robes, tracking devices (for the occasional dud that doesn't go off), various tools in his back pack, and stuffed rancor he has kept with him since childhood.

History (optional): DinDink was a Jawa born on Tatooine like most jawas, and like most jawas he found himself working on a sand crawler scavenging for scrap and the occasional droid. However unlike most Jawas DinDink wasn't satisfied with just scavenging for scrap and fixing up broken droids. In fact he seemed to be happier seeing the droids explode. Though he would gain the experience to be able to repair things that have broken down effectively, he had way more fun blowing things up. His knack for finding out how technology works helped him find ways to make them blow up better. Unsurprisingly, this did not sit well with the rest of the Jawas on the Sand Crawler and he was kicked out and effectively left to his own devices.
This ended up being rather all right with him, because now he could find ways of using his talents for himself without being monitored. During his time wandering alone, he discovered that explosions had two useful applications for him. They look pretty and pleasing to the eye, and they can get rid of problems. Though he was able to find work fixing and repairing various pieces of tech, he found himself utilizing his knack for explosives more often then not. This made DinDink think of practical, and possibly more profitable applications for his abilities that aren't repairing and maintenance. Such a thought eventually led him down his current line of work, Bounty Hunting.

Being a Jawa, many people look at him and think he's nothing but a scavenger or a two-bit crook selling overpriced pieces of junk. As true as those assumptions are about him no one expects anything more then that about him. No one suspects a Jawa to be capable of anything dubious, like rig their speeder to continuously gain momentum with out the ability to brake or slow down, or plant a small explosive charge on the underside of their vehicle, tucked away in an area where one wouldn't notice. DinDink commonly uses these preconceptions of Jawas to sneakily sabotage his target's personal property to explode of malfunction with often lethal results. His usual method of taking out his quarry has earned him the nickname "Fritzz" among his friends and allies, the people he can trust the most. A monicker he has happily accepted and adopted as his name.

Fritzz isn't the sort of bounty hunter to go after the petty crook or the poor soul who angered the wrong Hutt. People who didn't deserve to have a bounty placed on them aren't on his hit list. Fritzz goes after the scumbag, the crimelord, the slave trader who have bounties on them for more legit reasons. It's not really due to any sense of justice, and although his morals play a part in who he targets it's not the main reason. It's mainly due to the fact that people like that are the ones who have a higher price on their heads, have a higher payout if confirmed dead, and they're usually the ones to be unsuspicious of him if not ignore him entirely, which ends up making his job way easier. Although his usual method of taking out bounties is sabotage and deception, Fritz's days of using his stun gun has made him quite handy with a blaster if and when things come to blow.

He currently has 24 confirmed collected bounties. And is looking forward to collecting number 25.

Despite being able to figure out how most technology works rather quickly, he still has no idea how to use his bank account...

  8. a smuggler and a bounty hunter on the same team? or is this more freeform rp? :p

    Also totally a sith/jedy/force user here :D
  9. Well Jawa Bounty Hunter, take that as you will

    The dynamic could work though

Bounty Hunters don't need to have ties to any given government, though some may choose too

They more or less have the freedom to choose which bounties they take

If their buddy happens to have a bounty on their head they're not forced into collecting it
