AV and Fire Dragons - Is this one class THE reason why Eldar win so many matches?

When your optimal AV is a double bomb or a worse lascannon for the entire faction you slowly learn that they do it because it's the only thing that works, I would still do it with one and still win every time since a tank I kill is never defended or manned unlike the Eldar tanks, but until Eldar tanks have the same health as a Rhino this is balanced nicely currently as both sides can kill a tank in seconds with a melta bomb (or double krak), in one game I lost a rhino drove for the entire match, no one could kill it in the entire team due to it's speed.

Whatever floats your boat...I personally don't want to run around after empty vehicles or sit on turrets defending them. I would much rather have epic gun fights and moments of madness.

Then go ahead and do that, I enjoy tanking hunting and the exp it gives personally and how it's a role that's needed but is never filled, just don't complain about a loss or item when you actively avoid roles needed to win/counter them when you go enjoy fun fire fights instead is all.

Oh I don't lose anything I just fight/play the other factions it's more fun with closer matches

Actually most people in the other factions have wised up about this. Fire Dragons have rather large targets on them now.

When other factions also do AV, the games are much more balanced.

But for some weird reason, the only factions where I find some dedicated AV guys are eldar and orks, but the greenskins have lost some punch here since the klaw nerf and new burning choppa meta. Kannons and rokkits are still a thing.

CSM did some AV when half the team had a fist, now is much more rare. LSM... if there are some guild guys, they sometimes do AV (thanks, guys!), but much of the time I can mark a transport, ask for help at the chat, and still find it parked at the point door 5 minutes later. Curiously, I find more AV loadouts when there are more new players, probably because they have the lascannon by default.

If I get 1 euro each time I found a rhino parked at the side of another faction transport like if it was invisible, today I could have my own iron man armor.

What I mean to say is... yes, AV wins games and probably dragons are one of the main strenghts of the eldar, but why eldar have more dedicated AV players than the other factions?

PS: It's not an "eldar players are better" thing. I'm serious about my question, what needs a faction to have more active AV players? If it was about power and because the "melta bundle", AV should have been more common when the bundle wasn't a need and every faction -except orks- had better melta guns, but it wasn't.

    Maybe it's the color.

Coming from a guy who spent 6 years playing planetside 2 where we have had the mobile spawn sunderer ,, in pretty much unlimited numbers on the battlefield since .. planetside 1 really ..
I have learned that defending and hiding your mobile spawn point can be more important at times than actually defending the point .. since it allows your team to quickly recap the point from the sunderer.
We used to have dedicated ppl driving and guarding the things etc.

And to be totally honest in the time i've spend in this game i dont see a lot of people making any effort to defend their rhino's.
    Nior hiding them very well.
They leave them unguarded in the open most of the time.

Which is why very often I usually run around doing Av myself nowadays because of this, with a melta bomb/meltagun traitor.
I like to think i am the one that wins my matches because i just run around taking out APC's and predators alike (they park them and leave em unguarded too . Often next to the rhino's .. wonder why ..)
And this leave the enemy to foot slug it from the main spawn until their APC cooldowns are up again.. atwich point i will be 1200 xp richer soon after haha!
And than Simba ... the cycle repeats... and all that the light touches .. you must walk again..

Now i'm not saying the fire Dragon isn't OP at taking out vehicles ... because it is.
But it would help if ppl would actually guard their TACTICALLY IMPORTANT spawn/resupply vehicle...
At least in most of the random battle matches I play.
I dont know how this translates into competitive play since I suspect they won't be as stupid to leave them unguarded .. or do they ?

I don't think Fire-Dragons are that much better at taking out other vehicles. The mobility of a wave serpent helps protect it against other factions short range AV classes, but a Rhino or Wartruk that moves in the slightest is enough to dodge melta plants in my experience. Because of this the only way to reliably plant a bomb is to do so on an abandoned vehicle, which LSM and CSM can do to wave serpents, which are often abandoned as well by squads or randoms just like any rhino. On top of that Rhino's aren't really any slower than a wave serpent, just more maneuverable, which doesn't stop other factions from rolling up to an abandoned wave serpent and exploding it. In fact the tankier space marines might be better capable because of all that armour and the fact they take less time to plant one bomb.

The real problem is that too often players just don't watch their vehicles and I see the other factions not committing enough to AV, especially considering it takes one player.
