This faction sucks in game, honestly the healer is non existent, you can't even fire your loota gun it take forever to start up. Don't play this faction if you're new.
The doc is awesome but needs his advancements Lootas are a bit meh, but once you get some of the other guns they are ok.
Well that's not helpful. Let's try v2.0, tips for new Ork players from a non-faction player. Build an ork tips! -The presets are good, and better than a naked custom class. It's not until lvl 2-3 that custom loadouts really become better (depending on certain classes and preboughts). -The lootboxes have limited items and will give you lower gear in higher boxes. So clear out the 1k boxes first, then the 5k boxes, etc. -Plan your advancement tree, find out what 2-3 classes you really want to develop. Getting generic gear (like that 'ard armour at lvl 3) is a good buy for everyone. Killing people! -Orks are made to get in close. More so than any other faction, being up close will help win fights. -Bigger is better, but it always takes more to setup and use properly. The big shoota takes longer to get shooting than the shoota, the dakka deffun takes even more but is even better. Axe choppas are better and slower than choppas, and power klaws even more so. Get used to the game with the light gear, find the balance, and then progress to bigger and better weapons. The Doktor! -The Doktor almost needs the healing grenade (lvl 3). It doesn't give xp (which sucks) but it will do so much for helping your team hold a spot (especially when capping) and winning is the best xp. -Trying to get the needle heal to work can be hard. Run into your (friendly) target, cant your camera 30 degrees to the right, and you should get the heal to go into them. Tankhunting! -Tank hunting for the orks is the worst. No argument there. The kannon deffgun is a good intermediate between dakka (bad form tankhunting) and zap (good for tankhunting, but bad for other reasons) for new players. -The zap deffgun is great if you know the maps and where people are, because you will have to avoid them. -Always try to shoot the rear of the tanks, if not go for the sides. -Rokkits require a lot of strategic finesse to pull off, but you'll always have your slugga pistol with you, so don't be afraid to use it. It's not great though. -Power klaws are great for killing people, and somewhat ok for hunting tanks. -If there's an eldar player driving in circles with a wave serpent/falcon, don't get up close. Those things are razor edged. -Super stikkbombs are good, wish they sticked more.
Dude I only have under 15 hours in game I bloody love the orcs and the dakka gun check out my video , you need to pre fire by using the radar to spot enemies , as you learn the map its easier. Also run to a wall using CNTRL and you will mount it on the wall allowing you to lock down a part of the map , use your noddle and watch out for flyers View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmPJ3e1sUFg
