There are pages of threads about centurions and how they fail. I'll sum it up: - It's an armored suit for an armored suit. No one would ever design something so utterly ridiculous and inefficient out side of 80's 'power-up' cartoons. "And now I transform into Super-mega-armored-space marine!" -Game-wise, the thing fills absolutely no role. Devastator squads do a better job for heavy weapons, and terminators do a better job for assaults. As for cover, threre will be no sticky cover a-la GoW, however there will be things to take cover behind.
If they do add a cover system I hope it's like the one in Splinter Cell: Conviction. When you're only in cover for as long as you hold down a key/button.
It looks alot like Space Marine, and that's a good thing, though I sucked hard at the Space Marine multiplayer...
I'm happy with what I'm seeing so far. Even though this is early alpha, it already looks very appealing.
I'm remember seeing a post by a dev saying that it was possible to go beyond 1000 people at a time, but they're unsure since they haven't tried going beyond 1000
If i played chaos i would be blasting "Blood for the blood" through my headset in PvP throughout the game But man, those executions, nice!
I love the whole chaisaw sword ripping through the enemy. I wonder how brutal they will make the ork finishers and if finishers can only be done from up close. I can suspect that some classes in the game probably shouldn't get up close and personal. Every game has its squishie classes.
