Played a few matches with klaw today and it seemed bad. Like super bad with how many bugs there were. Problems I saw: Fast attacks not working at all. As in I clicked RMB and my ork sat there doing nothing at times. Sprint attack not activating and doing a regular fast attack or no attack at all. Klaw was ignoring or being ignored for what seemed like 50% of the rps interactions. I had power attacks float through people rmb spamming. I had d bash being ignored a lot. I had attacks that should have clanged not clanging. I had clangs not applying weapon dmg example being I saw a knife clang 3 times with klaw, which shouldn't be possible, and only won when rps woke and applied again. Maybe I just had a really bad case of the server side wtfzors but klaw felt like a huge grab bag of random tonight. I actually got higher than normal scores BECAUSE of all the glitching but it just felt weird and unfun tbh. Anyone else seeing possesed klaws that go full on random? Maybe my dead shiny klaw was being blessed by Gork and Mork is all.
Stopped using it after last patch it has nothing going for it a rokkit launcher and 2 sticky bombs is better in every way (inc CC)
Having never played the first one I am unable to give comparisons heh. I'm enjoying it so far, I still suck as I haven't used a gamepad(let alone an xbox marked one for PC, was always a sony player) in ages and trying to get the hang of what all you can do in combat. It's got the feelz though, my teenage years are back with all of its nerdy nostalgia.
Dbash was missing more than usual for me (75% of the time or so) yesterday but it didn't seem to be weapon specific. Missed just as much on the shoota as the stormboy w/ klaw. Everything else seemed to hit just fine.
I finally managed to get on to the game today since the last patch, the Klaw is really, really messed up. It's worse than any other weapon now, every other type of weapon will bypass it every 2nd "clang". Dbash still isn't working 90% of the time and as you have said in the OP 50% of attacks that should clearly hit don't do any damage. Orks in general seem to be completely fucked. I've played 5 or 6 games since the last patch and as Orks I have lost every single one. The fights weren't even close, we got absolutely destroyed. Melta is still wrecking our vehicles in 3 or 4 seconds. Plasma still dominates. JPAs still ignore RPS and are literally unbeatable in melee. My Orky patience is starting to wear thin. It might be time to take an extended break from EC.
I really really miss the range the of the dash attack from the klaw, you could atleqst always get one hit in someone.
Yea, and if you missed you sometimes threw yourself into lava or off a bridge which was at least hilarious. The current situation is just, sad.
Even when you face a energy fist, you receive damage every 2 fast attacks instead of "clang". Klaw is broken, not even usefull vs vehicles.
